We booked what was advertised as a 2 bedroom suite and arrived to find it was 1 bedroom and a bed in the lounge. The traffic noise was horrendous all night so nobody got a lot of sleep. The 'kitchenette' is a fridge and a microwave with the bathroom sink next to them (outside the actual bathroom), so you would be washing dishes or fruit in the same sink you wash your hands after using the toilet which is unhygienic and disgusting. The place felt generally grimy. It was so bad we tried to find somewhere else to stay, but everything was booked out so we were stuck.

Very clean, well located but we didn’t like the garage not being available (especially with severe hail through the night before our arrival) nor three of the rooms and the bathroom cabinets also being locked. The house has the aura of “the owners have moved out while you are staying”. There was a dog kennel and trampoline out the back - a bit strange. However, we thought it was well equipped and spacious but definitely over-priced.
Self-catering accommodation gives you the freedom and privacy that’s needed to enjoy a well-earned break. From modern apartments and luxury villas to beach huts and eco-lodges, the options are seemingly endless. Cook in your kitchen, read in the garden, or chill on the sofa and watch TV – however you choose to spend time, you’ll feel right at home.
Clean and good value for money, good-sized room including a small dining table. Lots of benchtop space was useful and great kitchenette for a motel room.
We had one of the newer holiday units as pictures. Whilst they are small they are well maintained and cosy. We arrived late on a very cold Friday night and the heater had been turned on prior ensuring we had a warm unit when we arrived. Walking distance into the centre of Ararat. Great camp kitchen for anyone camping.
Undercover parking, comfortable bed with electric blanket, well equiped kitchenette, spotless bathroom, professional and friendly staff, TV and internet with free wifi
Walking distance to everything ,comfy beds , very nice clean and very quiet kitchenette was fantastic with everything you need to heat up or cook toasted sandwiches etc . The owners went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable , very nice owners can’t wait to go back and stay again .price was very reasonable highly recommended kind regards sharon welsh xx
Very comfortable and clean room with beautiful furnishings. Window had 3 layer blinds so was great block out. Kitchen sink to wash my dishes and microwave. Very easy check in.
Liked the layout of the cabin was plenty big enough for two of us, wouldn't like to be a family of 4 or more. Kitchen was well equipped with large fridge and good cooking facilities. I forgot to bring the salt & pepper and it was one thing that was missing.
The room was so spacious and so clean. It had a small kitchenette that was so perfect and it had everything we needed. So nice to be able to wake up and make breakfast in the room. The bed was a comfy king size and the room was quiet and warm. It is a short walk to town and very close to the local RSL club. We will
definitely stay here again. Oh and the owners are friendly and accomodating .
It was recommended ,affordable ,comfortable , clean grounds , plenty of bins , great BBQ area and loved the indoor camp kitchen and sit down area perfect for a group .
Clean with quality linen, tea bags, toilet paper, towels, bed linens and kitchen items. Spacious both in the unit and car park area.
Lovely owners, very helpful and friendly.
