A wonderful family resort in the east of the alps. Great for beginners. Lots of blue & red runs. Great night time sledging. Loads of restaurants on the mountains with very friendly service. Big portions but not cheap but then ahow me a skiing resort that is. Much cheaper than france and Switzerland and italy.

Ski area consist of 4 hills to 1.800m, so everyone can find the slope which is fitting to him. On the hills, there was a pretty lot of restaurants or bars. There was a free parking place to leave a care in and drive with the lift directly to the entrance. When parking outside, you can put your skies on and by the snow go directly to the entrance to buy a tickets. Parking place was on asphalt so no dirt. The Schladming city is small but you can find there a restaurant for a quick dinner.

One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed in. The beauty of the hotel and the wonderful view of the mountain. The room number was 54, a studio with a balcony. It had all the necessary equipment for cooking in addition to all the kitchen utensils., They were very kind and helpful in everything. You need tourist places and attractions. Mainly stayed for bike parks and they have one of the best systems so you don't overheat in the gondola, love it, very kind, would always recommend! Schladming is a quaint little town with scenic views from everywhere. The town centre has nice bars spread out everywhere. However everything closes in this town by 5:30PM max and there may not be much night life to offer.

It was decent enough. The most important meal in Austria is lunch, so find one of the better huts for a more gourmet lunch. Would stay here again. You are a 5 min walk from lots of bars and restaurants as well ski rental places and the Planai gondola. It was a good place to be for a first time visitor who speaks no German.

It's right next to the slope and you can just put on your skis and snowboard and hit the slope. The rooms are really big. We - a family with two adults and three kids (0,6,9) had a one-bedroom apartment and there was enough room for everything. There's even a sauna and a play room for kids, which our older ones loved. Enough rooms and especially enough bathrooms (3) for a large number of people. Practical entrance to the basement where ski equipment can be stored and ski boots can be stored on heaters/dryers. Right next to the ski slope and close to the road and other necessary infrastructure (shops, bars, restaurants). The staff is friendly and ready to help. In general, our stay was excellent.
