Very quiet, beautiful views across the gardens and sea. Room was fantastic, beautifully decorated and had everything you needed. Lovely bar with patio and plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy outdoor dining and drinks overlooking the gardens and sea views. Staff very welcoming and friendly. 5 minutes drive to Whitstable Town and seafront. Would loved to have stayed longer.

Looks nicely and recently refurbished. Very clean and lovely room decor with comfortable bed/cushions. Good breakfast options. Great central location however with that comes high street noise as the windows are single glazed sash, shame they weren't upgrade as part of refurbishment.

Service was excellent. All the staff were friendly and eager to help. Highly professional. Food was fantastic and so much to choose from. Nothing was too much trouble. Whole lay out fluid easy to move around very comfortable and relaxing. View of the sea stunning. Outside area wonderful to sit in and enjoy a drink.
The coffee shop and bar area open for most of the day gave you so much choice and opportunities to relax in the lounges meet friends and feel thoroughly indulged. Every need thought of and catered for. Exceptional.

Lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes.
Lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes. Harbour area was particularly pleasant although parking in this area was expensive. Plenty of town centre parking. We visited in April so the town was quite quiet but I imagine in the summer, it would be busy. Visited Whitstable Castle but not much to see or do there although the gardens were pretty.

The local people helpful and friendly. We liked the art deco styling of The Peter Cushing pub and the drinks were the cheapest in Whitstable.
Interesting to read about the actor who used to live in one of the characterful houses on the seafront.

Whitstable is lovely although the hotel we stayed at isabove the Tankerton slopes that lead down to the beach at Tankerton. The beach is pebbles but clean. The town of whitstable is quaint with small independent shops. There is an excellent fish snd chip shop in the town Jones, although that is closing down soon. Plenty of lovely restaurants and coffee shops.

This was an extremely short trip so we could only sample a bit of the town but we loved it. Lots of individual shops, cafes and restaurants. Interesting pubs and a small but fascinating museum. Also managed to have a look round the Harbour too. Had a drink at the Twelve Taps - that offer a tasting board of 3 x small beers. And found a fish and chip shop with attached restaurant that did gluten-free fish and chips.
The position of the hotel is amazing and they have parking which is a bigger bonus it is extremely clean and nicely decorated the rooms are small but comfortable apart from the bed which is very hard.
The bathroom has a bath with a nice shower in it our room had a small balcony which overlooked the fire escape it had 2 deck chairs and a table with two chairs.
The breakfast which was included in the price of our stay cereal, full English yoghurt and fruit was also very good and being freshly topped up all the time.
I booked a very last minute overnight stay and couldn’t believe this amazing find. The whole hotel is stunning, beautifully decorated and with a gorgeous outside space with unparalleled views over Whitstable Bay. I had calamari and sea bass for dinner which was incredibly fresh and expertly cooked.
Staff were attentive and friendly at all times. My room was exquisite with a super comfortable bed and stylish bathroom
Can’t wait to go back!
Such an amazing find, our lovely host picked us from the train station when we arrived, then on the day we left brought our bags to the station so that we didn't have to carry them around and could spend a bit longer wandering around Whitstable. The property is so comfortable, everything you need and tastefully decorated with some lovely stylish touches. Loved this place and would be my first choice for a stay next time I'm in the area!
The B&B was very comfortable and clean with Sue being a wonderful host. The cooked breakfast’s were very good and Sue would find an alternative if you wanted something different. Parking is very difficult in Whitstable but the hotel has access to a couple of parking spaces round the corner which is very useful and included in the cost. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep every night.
Comfy room with lots of treats, and great hosts.
A swim in the mornings in their lovely pool before an amazing breakfast.
The location at Tankerton meant a lovely long walk along the coast in to Herne Bay, a shorter walk into Whitstable, and a pub and a Hotel just a five minute walk both serving good food and local ales.
All this meant that we didn’t use our car throughout our 2 night stay.
A lovely cosy room right in a perfect location in Whitstable. Lower score on the facilities as bathroom/shower so tiny I had go go back into the room to turn around but did not detract from our stay. The kitchen facilities are very limited but so happy to have the fridge and be able to make a cup of tea before venturing out for breakfast
We absolutely loved everything - the hotel is in a beautiful location on Tankerton slopes, overlooking the sea, and the room we stayed in was lovely (wasn't the sea view, but we didn't mind)! The breakfast was delicious, and we also received a birthday gift - a free drink for each of us! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
the room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel staff were 10 out of 10 food was good well cooked and presented and not bad size but maybe have a little more chose on evening menu and I guess its the same any were around there at peak time parking could be an issue although we did not have a problem it was very buzzy
Very clean and neat. Well equipped. Excellent location. Very good to have parking space included, and that the parking was available for an hour before and an hour after check in / check out. The staff at the Hotel Continental (where we had to go to check in and collect our key card) were so so lovely!
The house is very cosy and cute, super clean, comfortable beds. The host is absolutely amazing, Sinead went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Location is perfect, 5 min from the beach. Whitstable is a cute little town with fantastic restaurants.
Beautiful and simple property with wonderful views. Fab location for the High Street, bars, cafés, and Whitstable Castle. Management and Hotel Continental staff at the end of the phone for help if and when needed. Added bonus of a parking space.
Beautiful accommodation. Fabulous, attentive hosts. The property is immaculate with very thoughtful touches to make your stay especially special. Very dog friendly. Would certainly recommend. The best stay we have had in Whitstable.
The location was perfect in the centre of Whitstable. There was free parking at the Hotel Continental. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was lovely. Free tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and bottled water.
Everything about this place is wonderful I can't fault it in any way.whitstable is a great place to visit plenty of good eateries nice bars and of course the beautiful beach. I'll definitely be coming back 😄
I liked the location of the hotel, it is right between the Tankerton beach front and whitstable beach/town, so you can easily explore both sides of Whitstable. Our room was small but cosy and felt homely.
