Parma is a charming city which is not too big and one can therefore explore most of it on foot. It has historic buildings and fine museums. There are also nice parks and a river. It is a good base to visit its surroundings.
I found the personnel of the Ibis very friendly and helpful. The location is very good as it is very close to the centre (15 minutes walk to Parma Cathedral). You have to enter the ZTL area for a few hundred meters but at the Ibis reception they can write down your car plate number so that you don't need to pay any fine. We did not have breakfast in the hotel, also because we were staying in the second building (near a theatre), however Parma has several nice cafés where you can enjoy italian breakfast and more. Definitely a great choice.
My visit to Villa Principi Della Spina could not have more satisfying without the excellent hospitality of the Owner and Staff. Due to my travel for Business. It was really important for me to stay at a location that provided a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The suite was very clean and fitting. I recommend anyone when you visit Villa Principi Della Spina to take the opportunity discover the history of the location, try the foods of Parma, Italy and learn about the culture.
Charming receptionists at checkin and checkout. Beautiful room/apartment which enabled me to relax. Within a 3 minute walking distance to the concert hall. Small kitchenette with Mokka cooker was great in the mornings. The hotel is in a historic palazzo and right next to the Duomo right in the centre of Parma yet the room was quiet. Room access is via Flexipass (App on mobile phone). Lots of Cafés, shops, galleries & restaurants in the vicinity. I had a wonderful stay and will return.
The location is perfect for walking in and out of the centre of lovely Parma. We were met at the house and provided with essential info for the house, but also had immediate responses to small questions that we had about the property. The air conditioning was a bonus as despite traveling in October, Parma was very warm. The house was clean, comfortable and quiet. A persimmon tree with mature fruit in the garden was a real treat. Private parking was available and accessible.
"I recently stayed at this hotel in Bologna and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable.
When I had breakfast in the morning, I felt like a valued and honored guest.
The room was spacious and clean and decorated beautifully.
I highly recommend seeking out a stay that exudes aristocratic elegance and charm.
We stopped in Parma to break our trip back to Zurich and discover this cultural city. the hotel is in the center of Parma. they were so kind to communicate in advance were the parking facilities are. It is very clean and Tommaso welcomed us by explaining everything about the facility.
Breakfast was excellent and the girl helping us, nice and very motivated. We liked the charme of the building dated 1903. Would definitely stay here again.
The host met me in a nearby piazza and gave me a complete tour of the property. She had 2 bottles of water for me in the frig. The property is spotless! She gave me her WhatsAPP number in case I had problems, made dinner reservations, and gave me a sweet 'goodbye' gift (a small sample perfume of the famous perfume of Parma). The location ins near many shops, restaurants, and museums. I cannot envision a more perfect situation.
Hotel Torino has the perfect location to explore Parma, right in the historical center, 5 minutes walking to the Duomo and several attractions. It is surrounded by everything you need/want on a holiday, great restaurants, bars, shops, monuments, etc. It is in a quiet road off the main shopping area, the staff is friendly and helpful. A great place indeed, just 15 minutes of an easy walk from the train station,
Big spacious older style room- early check in and late checkout for us after 10 busy days in N Italy so very grateful. Close to and from train station .
Very quiet and comfortable room and it had a kettle which is 5 stars in my books .
Near the lovely park and 12 mins walking into the beautiful old town .
Nice breakfast .
I've stayed at the hotel before and was very happy to return to it. The hotel has a very nice atmosphere particularly in the reception area downstairs. It also has the best graphic design I've seen!
The room was a generous size with a big bathroom. It's very central to everything you want to see in Parma.
Peaceful rustic ambience within 8 minute drive to city centre. Most comfortable bed in 4 weeks in Italy. sensational breakfast. All Francesco’s recommendations for restaurants and places of interest were excellent. would stay again when in Parma
This hotel is in a great location, easy walk from train station and to the centre of Parma.
The hotel was so clean, and the bed was so comfy.
Breakfast was so good, they made us fresh pancakes with fruit. Would definitely stay here again
I don't even know if there are any points that could be classified as positive. Probably free parking and fairly friendly staff. Otherwise, unfortunately it turned out to be the worst hotel in our long trip to Italy.
