An outdoorsy city ranking among the world’s most livable, Vancouver is sheltered by Vancouver Island and the Pacific Range mountains. Vancouver is a small but growing. Get a day pass from the Waterfront Station and travel the Skytrain, buses and also the ferry to North Vancouver for a great appreciation of the area.

Absolutely loved Vancouver.
Absolutely loved Vancouver. There is so much beautiful scenery around the city, and great food in the city! Would definitely recommend this city to anyone. We drove up to Squamish which was a beautiful drive, where we went rock climbing. Also enjoyed the gondola ride up to Grouse Mountain. Definitely visit Granville market if you're there, and make sure you visit the Marine building too. It's not the cheapest city, particularly for certain activities (Grouse Mountain, Capilano bridge - very pricey), but would still recommend paying this gorgeous city a visit.

Lovely city with friendly and helpful inhabitants.
Lovely city with friendly and helpful inhabitants. Lots to do; much of it quite inexpensively and exploring it will give you a feel for its inclusiveness, its physical beauty, the opportunity to enjoy a plethora of restaurants with excellent and varied cuisines. Go visit and Vancouver will keep calling you back!

I found that the best areas to visit were away from the city, such as Whistler, Grose Mountain, the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Nth Vancouver.
Chinatown and surrounding area was not good with lots of people lying around in the streets. This whole area needs to be cleaned up as it is bad for locals as well as tourists who can no longer visit this area.
Catching the SeaBus and the local bus system was very good as is the good number of Uber drivers which are a great help to getting around the city. Also Granville Island, especially the market is a lovely place to visit.

This is a beautiful city with loads of attractions, I found it was a very drivable city, parking is expensive but accessible, there are free shuttles to activities like Capilano Swing Bridge and Grouse Mountain. The Canada line goes from the airport into the city with a day pass costing 13.25 for adults, the cruise port is also accessible from this line. We did the Hop on Hop off bus to most of the city’s best attractions like Granville Island Market and Stanley Park. I look forward to visiting Vancouver again. Wildlife and Nature abound.

1. Mr Shawarma at Burrard station.
Food:
1. Mr Shawarma at Burrard station. Best shawarma in the city by far, and the cheapest. Usually cheap is "meh" but this outclasses anything the city has to offer.
2. Mount Everest - fantastic hakka.
3. Gastronomy. Great pizza
Places to go:
1. Stanley Park - no explanation needed. Do NOT rely on the Shaw/Mobi bikes. Rent bikes thru other means
2. Queen Elizabeth Park
3. Bloedel conservatory
4. Van Dussen Botanical
5. China Town - Dirty, full of homeless people
6. Burnaby - Metropolis mall - Biggest mall in BC
7. Gas town - vibes and that silly steam clock
8. Canada place and the harbor - nice views
9. Granville Island - cool vibes, hippy spot

Transportation & Getting around town - Buy a day pass for $11.25, allowing you to travel by bus, sky train, and ferry to north van, unlimited uses for that particular day. Downtown Vancouver is super walkable.
This hotel is awesome! We will be back for sure. Right from the start we were greeted by a very nice gentleman who came to our car and offered us a luggage cart, and set us up for the parking garage. The staff at the front desk were lovely as well. We were able to park our car, and check in early so we could do some exploring before the hockey game at Rogers arena which is just steps away. Nespresso machine in the room was awesome, a very clean and comfortable stay. 10/10 recommend, a very affordable hotel for downtown Vancouver.
We arrived early morning by train from Toronto and expected to leave our bags at the hotel until check in time, however the staff were very helpful and we were able to occupy our room straight away. The room was spacious, quiet and clean.....11th floor and views over the city. The bed was one of the best we've ever slept in. Robson street is one of the best retail/restaurant streets in Vancouver and the hotel is right in the centre, such a great location. The cafe/restaurant attached to the hotel serves good food & coffee.
Bed was very comfortable, loved the Nespresso coffee pod machine in our room. The staff were helpful and friendly. Prior to us arriving provided lots of useful information of what to do in Vancouver. The location is convenient to downtown Vancouver and walkable to major attractions, Stanley Park , Granville Island, Canada place waterfront where tours can be arranged . Cafe Elysian next door and also the Burgoo Bistro. The meals there were delicious, reasonably priced and friendly staff.
Has everything you need for a basic stay! Best price in downtown Vancouver with a great location! This is the second time we've stayed at the days Inn and we had a great experience each time. There's so much within walking distance or take a 5-10min Uber or taxi ride to get you anywhere else in downtown Vancouver. The rooms have everything you need with a free breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend if you're looking to find just a basic hotel room at the best price.
Our room in this non-profit hotel was small and pretty basic, but we weren't planning to stay inside during our weekend in Vancouver anyway! It was clean, the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and the price is a complete bargain for the area. The location is great for accessing the arena, stadium, Gastown and all the downtown attractions. We will definitely be return visitors and would recommend the hotel for active visitors to downtown Vancouver.
A beautiful property in downtown Vancouver, BC. The hotel and rooms are immaculate and rooms are equipped with everything one would need while traveling. Extra large bathroom with large showers and soaking tubs is such a plus. The beds were so comfortable and our king deluxe room had a living room with sofa and chairs and of course, a large screen TV. Excellent service all around with a concierge in the lobby to assist with anything. *****+
Updated and modern hotel. Great location in a nice part of Downtown Vancouver, close to the waterfront. Nice remodeled room that I stayed in (#605). A big window in my room giving a lot of natural daylight into the room. Furniture in nice condition. Very comfortable Queen Bed. Nicely designed flawless bathroom with a big deep bathtub. High quality bathroom amenities. Fast Wi-Fi.
Excellent location, right across from Yaletown metro, super easy to get to/from Vancouver airport, although be aware if driving there is very limited parking at the front of the hotel, so its a bit of a drop and dash if you need to unload luggage. Surrounding area also has plenty of great restaurants, and its a short walk down to false river ferries. Room was also comfortable.
The hotel is reasonably priced for being in downtown Vancouver and the location/area is excellent. Many restaurants & shops across the street in the bustling neighborhood. Our room was very spacious (Superior King) and the bed was likewise very comfortable
I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Next time I return to Vancouver, I would stay at this hotel again.
Maybe a little pricey for what it is (although it is Vancouver after all) but if you’re looking for a “cheaper” place to stay that is pretty well located, this is really good. Walking distance from waterfront and aquataxi, small but cute rooms and fun rooftop patio area. Also right beside a little pho restaurant that had the best spring rolls I’ve ever had
Free Airport shuttle was very handy especially as we arrived late at night. Location, albeit close to the airport, was good as it was easy to get to downtown Vancouver with the bus stop being right outside hotel. My travelling companion was gluten intolerant so the in-house restaurant catered well for that.
Newly renovated hotel in mid city area.
We felt vary safe here unlike much of Vancouver.
Convenient walk from cruise terminal 10 min.
Lovely rooms and exceptional breakfast.
The best value accommodation we could find in Vancouver. Many people we know paid more and got less in worse locations.
Very basic hotel, and priced accordingly in this city with VERY expensive accommodation.
Bed and linen was top quality.
Excellent central location, surrounded by restaurants. The Early Bird Special at Cora Breakfast and Lunch next door has to be THE best value in Vancouver.
A classic downtown hotel with modern furnishings and amenities, the best part is the staff. From the doorman to the front desk to room service and housekeeping everyone is friendly, helpful and professional. 10/10 will stay there whenever I'm in Vancouver!
Best location in West End. Close to false creek Ferry/Granville Island, English Bay, Yaletown. Very walkable neighborhood. Spacious suites with balcony. Staff makes you feel like home. Forget the big box hotels! This is where you want to be in Vancouver!!
This hotel is a gem in downtown Vancouver. The location is excellent, literally 2 minutes from Canada Line skytrain. The bed is very comfortable, comparable to Westin’s heavenly bed. The room is newly renovated, very clean and surprisingly quiet.
Good vibe and nice decor. Very clean. Nice mix of new and old. Room are well set up. Good location. About a seven minute walk to the Vancouver City Centre Canada Line. The hotel is right by the Orpheum Theatre.
Located in downtown Vancouver; convenient to travel around. Friendly receptionists who explained in details about the property & services offered at check-in. Lovely hotel staffs. No smoking smell.
Location is great, just in the heart of downtown Vancouver, had a private en-suite room so except the fact that there was no AC in the rooms, it felt like a normal hotel.
