The room was comfortable, clean, modern and spacious. Good, compact gym. Lovely breakfast (although coffee could have been better!). Broadly very happy with my stay.

Breakfast was excellent. The hotel also. There is nothing I can fault the hotel for, except the pillows and mattress were a bit too firm, apart from that it was perfect.
On the waterfront, with a sun terrace looking out over the marina and Billing Aquadrome, the hotel offers great value, with free parking and spacious, comfortable and modern en suite rooms.

Everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfy and the staff were friendly and helpful. A tasty breakfast, free onsite parking and just a short walk into the city centre, it was everything we needed.
It is a living village with proper shops. It had a small theatre which is a cinema as well. The local pubs are welcoming. There is a good garden nursery. The houses generally are built with Northampton stone which is a honey golden colour which to me is more attractive than Cotswold stone. The location of Moulton is excellent as it is suitable for walkers, also near to golf courses and other facilities. We were visiting friends nearby so didn’t eat in the pubs but have done in years gone by so can recommend the village. It has so much history. In the Poplars there are local informative booklets. So enjoy the area and the welcome at The Poplars.

The Poplars is a hidden gem.
The Poplars is a hidden gem. It’s in a lovely peaceful location. Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. We were offered flapjacks and fruit as an act of kindness due to our arrival time and given a map of the local area with plenty of practical tips for local pubs, parks etc.
My cousin stayed for breakfast as a visitor despite it being extremely busy. The staff can’t do enough to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The church is attractive and active, with a curious piece of Saxon sculpture at the end of the South aisle. The (large) village has a number of houses well-worth admiring, from handsome town houses to cottages, mostly in the warm reddened local limestone; there are enough shops to avoid the need to go into Northampton for any but special needs. Two pubs serve meals, as does The Poplars hotel on some days. From Thursday to Sunday (when we were there) the J Gallery serves excellent coffee and stages exhibitions of work, often by local artists. On our visit the quality of this work was remarkable.
Warm welcome and all staff very friendly and showed genuine interest in guests. Situated in lovely village of Moulton. Ideally suited my needs in the area.
Accomodation clean and comfortable. Breakfast cooked to order.
Ample parking at rear. Would reuse if back in the area.
I didn't have a need to use it, but note that at time of visit (June 2022) the restaurant was not open in the evenings - host provided alternative local options.
It was a last minute choice I chose I regret I never stayed in my life over 34 years even 3 world nations are far bette, I have also spoken to the landlord who asked me to feedback to you this is going to ruin hotel.com. I am also taken few photos during my stay due to post in all social media platforms to address Name and Shame to the Publics.
Sue is an excellent hostess and nothing is too much trouble. We needed directions into Northampton and Sue produced a map. The breakfast choice encompassed everything and the poached eggs were cooked just as requested. The hotel is within walking distance of a lovely pub.
Marvellous breakfast menu - and sent us out with a 'pack-up' The courtyard room was clean and spacious. The hotel's resaurant was unfortuanately not open due to the pandemic precautions, but excellent recommendations were given for eating in the village, moments away.
I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past five years or so. I have always been warmly greeted. The rooms are always clean and whilst not luxurious they are comfortable. The breakfast is always very good. I will return!
The hotel was an excellent centre for us to enjoy two days cycling. The facilities were great and our bikes were safe overnight.
Breakfast was excellent which set us up for the day!
The room was comfortable and in a quiet spot.
there is nothing good about the property! avoid it at all cost. No customer service. check in no means to access my key. Had to book another hotel.
