The whole experience was excellent. Food was good the room was very clean beds comfortable and the hot water was very hot. Staff were very friendly and were so obliging nothing was to much trouble.
Bear of Burton has unique, individually designed bedrooms and a popular local restaurant. Christchurch is just 5 minutes’ drive away.

Everything. The suite was beautifully decorated. The service was attentive and professional, but the main thing that me and my wife liked the best was the food. We stayed for one night and eat for lunch, dinner and breakfast without faults. All the dishes were exquisite expecially the fish and chips. We have been in different establishments in the New forest but the Bear of Burton was problably the one we liked the most.

We had a bonus upgrade to a lovely room looking out over the green and old castle ruins, the room was bright, clean with super king size bed. Check-in had been friendly and painless. the continental breakfast was great, a good selection with top quality ingredients and came with the by now expected very friendly service. dinner wae similar helpful staff, excellently cooked food from a not large but well thought out menu.
I chose this at short notice from Booking.com not knowing what to expect but from the moment I walked in I knew I'd got a winner. Loved it.
