Beautiful town on the island of Naxos.
Beautiful town on the island of Naxos. Exactly what you want for a Greek holiday experience. Lots of restaurants and shops. Beautiful buildings and streets, gorgeous flowers everywhere. The port and sea are beautiful and there is always a view. Walk across the causeway to Portara, it’s stunning. Friendly locals! We loved it and would recommend to everyone.

We oved Naxos, the island was big enough to cater for all types of activities but was still easy to get around by hire car or public bus. We stayed for 6 days and could have done 6 more. It was not just touristy, it had local agriculture, industry and attractions. We will come back and hike more trails and ride the mountain roads on bikes for more days. Loved this town.
Loved this town. Just as pretty as Mykonos town but less expensive and less crowded. Lots of locals, no cruisers. Good selection of restaurants. Very nice waterfront. The Apollo Temple was cool—easily accessible and free. Stayed here for two nights, did not venture out to the rest of the island, and could have been perfectly happy staying another 1-2 nights just exploring the town.

There is a lot of good restaurants, we would recommend to get a quad to go around the island, we had the luck to have it very calm on the road, we were able to visit a lot and see all the charms, the trendy spots the more calm spots, the best hidden beaches, Naxos has a lot to offer, food is great and the people are amazing, you won't regret NaxosKaxandraBelgium - 10Scored 10

Great island to visit - Naxos Town has a lot of good restaurants, plus a good bag wash laundry service - the Captain's laundry. The towns of Filoti and Apeiranthos are well worth a visit. The island has a very relaxed attitude with none of the problems associated with cruise ships and their passengers as experienced on Santorini. Well worth a visit.GrahameAustralia - 10Scored 10

Stunning Greek island with a sleepy, relaxed vibe in October. Great restaurants and amazing beaches, awesome hikes and sightseeing to do. It felt way more genuine and less touristy than Santorini, more like an authentic experience.

We liked the peace and quiet after a day out and an evening spent in town. Irini was a very attentive host and checked with us at least once a day to ensure everything was all right. We did not take breakfast every day, but the breakfast offer was excellent with a variety of options available. Despite the central location, you don't hear any noise at night and you can sleep in peace. The room was very clean and warmly decorated. Maria, the hostess, is very warm and hospitable, she does everything to make you feel comfortable and at home. Property is amazing, breakfast great, room is huge, and all of the comments about how this isn't a 3 star hotel or whatever are deranged crybabies. Are the walls a little thin? Maybe. Who cares. Our room was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed. The hotel is in a perfect location… minutes away from a lovely beach and wonderful restaurants. our first visit to Naxos, definitely not our last. Breakfast was wonderful and the service in the mornings superb! We particularly loved the Greek specialities, but for those wanting more traditional items there is eggs and bacon.

Everything was perfect from the ferry pickup, to the welcome drink, to the rooms (big, clean, spacious, air conditioned, with two balconies), the breakfast in the lovely dining area, to the location (proximity to the beach and the port), the WiFi, and the services. Even the bus stops and covid testing lab were close to the hotel ! Definitely recommend staying here !!
