The receptionist and bar staff are always so kind and polite. I requested the same room as i'd had previously and they were happy to accommodate.

Dorking is a delightful historic market town with a variety of shopping and excellent pubs and restaurants. A short distance away are some terrific places to visit, including Box Hill and Polesden Lacey, two National Trust areas that provide awesome hiking and areas to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside.

The hotel was very cold, including corridors and public areas. There was a fireplace with plenty of wood, but nobody had made a fire, which would have been very welcome!!
The room was extremely cold and the handrail in the bathroom only heated up half way, the other part was stone cold.

We stayed in a country manor house completely surrounded by fields and public pathways. Great location for those who like to explore the countryside. We did not make it into town, but driving through it looked lovely and wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of Dorking. Would go back again.
We had meals in Wotton Hatch Pub, and Abinger Hatch Pub - delicious food and very friendly staff. Both beautiful country pubs and well worth a visit.

Very people friendly ❤️
I had a delightful stay at the Studio, where I stayed solo for a week. It's situated in a quiet, green area, yet very close to the main street and shops (Sainsbury's, Waitrose, book store, nice cafés). The accommodation is very well equipped, and James is an excellent host, always eager to offer assistance or suggestions for activities in the area. Additionally, I was particularly fond of the studio's decor, which, unlike the impersonal ambiance of standard hotel rooms, adds to its cosiness & comfort.
Such a pretty location and the outdoor is amazing.Staff were trying their best but very understaffed.
Food not great but you get what you pay for and it’s very reasonable here.
Had a lovely room but other family members had a privilege room which was even better so if you can afford the extra I would suggest this.Great place for kids they loved the pool and box hill.
Dorking high street 5 min drive is lovely and some great restaurants there
A beautiful property in wonderful gardens in a very pretty part of England. The rooms are just about what would be expected, public areas are well appointed, but a little chilly while the pool was well used by the children in our party.
My overall impression of Wotton House, is a ‘grand dame‘ who is a little down on her luck and has seen better days, which is such a shame as the building is stunning and could exceed expectations so easily.
Location is a quiet leafy cul-de-sac in a street of 1930s houses. Perfect for the event I was participating in at the Dorking Halls. Flat was completely self-contained, modern interior, spotlessly clean and well thought out. Space to sit and eat, sofa to relax on, area to work at a laptop, clean well appointed kitchen, plenty of power sockets Lovely view of hills to rear of property. Tesco Express in walking distance or 2 mins in a car.
Atmosphere: very relaxing, quietly surrounded by grape trees, sounds of trees and birds, feel like you came to a small vineyard village in France
Location: simply 1 hour away from London
Attraction: interesting and educational tours about winemaking, not just a hotel to eat and sleep
Staff: overall nice, but the guy who takes you winemaking tour is very knowledgeable and friendly. We had fantastic time with him.
The spa area was nice, although the sauna wasn't hot enough when i used it. The steam room and pool were perfect. The main building is very impressive with an excellent facade and gardens. There was a separate GF breakfast station with dedicated toaster and coffee machines all over the hotel. All the food was very pleasant, although some of the gluten free versions were just the same dish with something omitted.
We stayed without food or breakfast for one night and it was a very nice peaceful escape from London City, we walked around the local area and its very beautiful. The view from the room was nice, it was very very warm in the room and there was nice tea and biscuits provided. The bathroom was very nice and had a full size bath.
The location of the hotel is very quant and in a very pretty area. The pub offered a great variety of food, we had both dinner and breakfast and both meals were great. The staff are also very welcoming and helpful.
The house is beautiful- it’s very inviting and offers a very comfortable stay. The hosts were very friendly and offered great advice on things to do in the area. A great place to stay when in Dorking.
The vineyard is beautiful, the hotel is small and lovely, the food in the main restaurant was delicious and well-presented. We were on our honeymoon and they were quite generous to us.
Beautifully renovated apartment. Incredible view. Very spacious and comfortable. Great location easy walk to the high street and the train station. Would recommend highly to anyone
