We had a wonderful stay in April. The food quality at the buffet was excellent, with many delicious options. Our room was spacious with a lovely ocean view. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. A special mention to Eva at the reception, who helped us with a room lock issue late at night. The beach is only a few steps away, and there's a high chance of seeing cute cats on the way there. We will definitely visit again.

Relatively quiet, beautiful city, not too many tourists.
Relatively quiet, beautiful city, not too many tourists. Good beach, you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas. There are several shopping centers, grocery stores. There are not many restaurants. Public transport stops running early in the evenings, it does not disturb sleep at night. The city parks are a little wild. From Costa Calma you can go to the nearest town Morro Jable by public transport, spending only 25 minutes on the way. You can go shopping, visit the many restaurants on the ocean shore, enjoy the panoramic view from the highest points of the city or just spend the day on the white sand beach. You can also cross the island from Costa Calma on foot (about 4 km each way) and see the wild, rocky coast with gigantic waves.

I really like the location of Costa Calma .
I really like the location of Costa Calma . It was only about an hour from from the airport, but being in the south it was very close to Morro Jable which was good for visiting and activities. The hotel had a private beach, and was the end hotel and next to desert we like this because we are very keen on wildlife and it was very quiet and peaceful. There was some live music at the hotel however, if somebody wants a more lively place or lots of shops to visit, this is not for you. There was a short walk to a few local shops and supermarket, but not a destination for perusing and choosing souvenirs et cetera I would say. There was another beach very short drive from the hotel which was very big and full of wind surfers and kite surfers
This was the adults only hotel, so no noise of children which we appreciated. The hotel appears to have mostly guests from Germany, and some of the staff did not speak very much English. We went half board so sometimes bought ourselves drink drinks and snacks at the bar which were very reasonably priced.

The beach is beautiful and the area is very calm and lay backed. There are enough restaurants which cater for various tastes. Supermarkets are a plenty if you choose to go self catering. Renting a car is a good choice for visiting the surrounding areas.

Room was like pictures but in person is was dated and needs some TLC. Breakfast was good.
Take water coffee sugar and tea with you as what's in the room you have to pay for. You also have to pay €3 per day to use the safe. We found these things very inconvenient.
You'll need a car to get around to the beaches and eating places.

We have been to this property on two occasions.
We have been to this property on two occasions. It is a very good location, enjoyed the ocean view. Beaches are a short drive down the hill and they are both great beaches. The apartment was clean with a good smell. We would prefer a queen bed versus twins but it worked. Although we did not use it the kitchen had an oven which is somewhat rare for beachy properties.
My only other suggestion is don’t book 7am outgoing flight as the one hour distance makes for a very early start.
Another enjoyable stay on Fuerteventura.
I stayed in this Hotel with my Parents for 6 days. The staff was great, very helpful, polite all the time. Hotel is very close to the beach (maybe 2 min.walking), the beach is sandy and clean. Hotel has an amazing view, has a lot to offer, if you want vacation to relax. The room was big and clean, with a great view. Food was also great, and you can enjoy your meal on the beatiful terrace with an ocean view! This place was definitely worth of visit!
Cristina is a great and very kind host, the place is very clean, comfortable and has everything you need even for a longer stay. The location is very nice and calm, beach is 10 min walk, but you can also drive 10-15 min to get to the other beautiful places. There is a small shop nearby, and a bigger shop a few minutes drive away. Costa Calma is very quiet at night, but there are some nice restaurants to visit.
The hotel has unique location for those who want to do kite or windsurf, far from touristic "factories". The main swimming pool is very nice and has corners for kids (the 3 other pools were under maintenance work). The restaurant is fair and the stuff is extremely helpful and efficient. The view from the room is great. Perfect for a few day stay with children. Our son adores kids disco and kids club.
All the staff was very attentive, efficient and proffesional. Many thanks to Rocio for her exceptional kindness. We were impressed that the hotel surprised us with a bottle of Cava and chocolates for my girlfriend’s birthday. Great choice for breakfast and dinner, also for vegetarians. Vicinity to rené egli windsurf school is a huge plus.
Great location at beach front, calm, modern and clean rooms, friendly staff. Costa Calma has an amazing Turkish blue sea and white sand. Restaurants and shops are steps away from the hotel. The location is very cute with panoramic view of the sea from the room. We avoid large impersonal hotels, so this location was a very good choice.
Very comfortable stay. Nice hotel with a big apartments and nice, helpful staff. Half board ok. The hotel located close to the beach (although there are lot of much more beautiful beaches on the island;)). Costa Calma is a good starting point for exploring the island (very close to the beautiful Sotavento beach and Morro Jable).
Very cute arrangement of the apartments. Comfortable beds. The food options were great with lots of variety. One of the best hotel buffets, in my opinion, with vegetarian options too. All-inclusive option also includes soft drinks and beer at the pool bar. Big pool that no one uses. Most of the staff were super friendly.
The hotel was great, right next to a beautiful beach. Breakfast and dinner buffets were really good with lots of choice and always fresh. You could do lots of activities through the hotel, such as wind surf, kite surf, excursions, etc! We would definitely come back to Melia when we visit Fuerteventura again.
Location, food, premium drinks for all inclusive. All perfect. Extra points for super friendly and professional, hard working staff 👏
We loved Mike's coffee a lot!
There are beautiful views from the hotel and a sandy beach just five steps away. We're definitely coming back soon!
We enjoyed staying in this apartment a lot. Its location was practical and nice. The terrace was fantastic overlooking other white houses with pretty gardens, mountains in the distance and the ocean on the horizon. It was just perfect for stunning sunrises. Highly recommended!
It’s located in front of the beach and it was cool inside the apartment hotel during the day so it was no needed to use any ventilator(btw there is no A/C and ventilator)
Next to the accommodation, there are well-organized garden with tall palm trees and cactus.
Very good location of the resort. Superb staff, very kind and helpful. Absolutely clean room with everyday cleaning, well done from the cleaning ladies.
