Fethiye is a beautiful seaside resort.
Fethiye is a beautiful seaside resort. You can get all the lively bars clubs and shops and entertainment in the town . You have fethiye harbour seafront with more restaurants. There are boat trips , safari jeep tours, scuba diving , paragliding in oludeniz which is not far to travel. You can hire bikes , mopeds , electric scooters. There are cycle lanes which are super organised.

I would highly recommend visiting Fethiye, Göcek and Çalis...
I would highly recommend visiting Fethiye, Göcek and Çalis just before the summer season starts. The weather is perfect and it’s quiet and not full of streams of tourists. You can appreciate so much nature - there is still snow capping the back mountains and it’s swimming weather at the beach. There are turtles freely swimming in the bay and just so much to enjoy in the peace and quiet of the pre-summer season. We tried a few different restaurants and nothing really ‘wowed’ us, however the prices were very good, even in the more high-end options. Fethiye centre has the most magnificent public park which gives you an entire free day out with the kids, easy access to drink and snack breaks and endless playtime. I would highly recommend this location as a family holiday, especially in the shoulder season.

Abundant with green forests, crystal clear blue beaches and coves and lots of activities to do such as boat tours, paragliding, canoeing, camping, hiking, glamping, cable car, scuba diving, safari tours, ancient ruins of Lycian civilisation and list goes on. Fethiye city is very charming with it's local shops and restaurants and it's lovely people. Highly recommend visiting as there is definitely something for everyone.EmyUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Have been to fethiye many times but never alone or out of season. February was an excellent time to visit as you see a totally different side to it outside of tourist season. Perfectly safe for a lone female traveller with lots of bars, restaurants and cafes. Lovely shops to wander - although be aware that out of season Old Town (Paspatur) is mostly closed, which I had expected. All restaurants along the harbour are open and it was lovely to wander round. Tuesday market was worth a visit too.

Marina & peninsula walk are beautiful. Close to Oludeniz & other famous beaches. Old town is very touristy but also the centre of the action. Not so many tourists as it was winter, it was great. We stayed in Calis Beach - across the bay from Fethiye. There is a beach at Calis, but not Fethiye. Fethiye is a big town with lots of shops and a weekly market. We hired a car and travelled to the following: Tlos (greco/roman site - superb) Saklikent (great fun wading through the canyon) Patara - another great greco/roman site but a good 1 1/4 hours drive. Kidrak Beach - great - all facilities. Oludeniz beach - ok but noisy (Kidrak better)JOSEPHUnited Kingdom

The hotel is well located as far as I could tell but taxis are cheap so you can get anywhere without spending too much. Close to a large park and the sea, shops and restaurants. The breakfast has a lot of choices but mostly not my type of breakfast food, though I'm sure typical for Turkey. The garden is really good - lots of trees, fruit growing which you can pick and eat. Lots of outdoor seating and a pool for the summer. The staff are friendly and good for a chat.

For me the staff was the highlight of this hotel: reception staff are amazing, welcoming and supporting with any request we had, as for the kitchen team preparing breakfast they’re simply WOW, 5 outstanding women who make the most delicious and traditional Turkish breakfast I’ve ever had in Turkey! would definitely recommend this hotel and hopefully will visit again.
