I recently stayed in room 405 at Grand Hotel Park in Istanbul, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I found room 405 to be unclean with a strong smell of smoke lingering. There was visible dust and an overall lack of cleanliness. Additionally, when I attempted to extend my stay by booking an extra night through Booking.com and informing the reception, I encountered a communication breakdown. Despite my efforts, my key card stopped working the next day, leading to confusion and unnecessary inconvenience. It was disheartening to experience such a lack of coordination and communication, especially considering I had already booked room 405 for an additional night. Furthermore, room 405 faces a noisy road with constant car horns, making it difficult to rest for those sensitive to noise. I believe the hotel would greatly benefit from improving their communication skills, especially in languages like English and Arabic, to better accommodate international guests. For instance, having staff fluent in Arabic, French, and English could enhance the experience for guests from diverse backgrounds. Overall, my stay in room 405 at Grand Hotel Park was disappointing due to cleanliness issues, noise disturbances, and communication mishaps. I hope this feedback helps the hotel management improve their services for future guests.
