We are delighted that we chose Le Bora Bora hotel to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Thanks to the hotel's exceptional staff and management, our stay was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm Polynesian hospitality. The hotel manager personally welcomed us, offered congratulations, and gifted us with memorable souvenirs. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the staff going out of their way to make us feel welcome what set the tone for the rest of our stay. From the very first moments, we felt pampered and as if we were the only guests there. We stayed in overwater villa with private pool at the front of Mount Otemanu, which was absolutely stunning. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered breathtaking views of the lagoon. The décor was a perfect blend of modern luxury and traditional Polynesian style. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the glass floor panel provided a unique way to view the marine life below. The dining experience at Le Bora Bora was exceptional. The hotel offers several restaurants, each with its own unique ambiance and menu with a variety of options to suit all tastes. The service throughout our stay was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to assist with any requests, especially Tamatoa. He had an extensive knowledge of the hotel and everything it offers, and he was able to recommend activities and dining options that perfectly suited our preferences. His insights made our stay even more enjoyable and unforgettable. Hotel Le Bora Bora provided us with an extraordinary experience that surpassed all our expectations. The exquisite setting, top-notch facilities, delectable dining options, and above all, the impeccable service, made our first anniversary celebration truly special. We felt cherished and well-cared-for throughout our stay, and we cannot wait to return to this beautiful paradise.

In general, Bora Bora has beautiful nature, but I notice that everything is much worse than it was 25 years ago. The opposite is true for the Maldives. It's getting better there every year. On Bora Bora they have big problem with the staff. Thay have not enough training. On main Island fast all hotels are destroyed…

    Truly beautiful!

Truly beautiful! Words cannot describe the different colours of the water or how it feels when you’re in it. You’ve got to go there to experience it. A boat ride in the lagoons is a must as is snorkelling with the rays and sharks. I would go back in a heartbeat. You don’t have to stay in the big hotels which charge a lot of money, there are plenty of other alternatives. Taxis are not cheap but providing you plan what you’re doing, you won’t have to use them too much. I flew to Bora Bora from Tahiti which only took 50mins. The view of the islands from the plane was fantastic.

Another beautiful island in French Polynesia.

Another beautiful island in French Polynesia. We took a day and toured around the island. We went to the WWII military outpost on the east side of the island. The terrain was steep in a few places, but the scenic vistas were amazing. We did a lot of walking around town and visited the art galleries. We missed eating at Bloody Mary's because they had just closed at 2pm for siesta. We had two great meals at St. James French Restaurant.

Bora Bora is beautiful, but I think it is over hyped.

Bora Bora is beautiful, but I think it is over hyped. The Lagoon and Island is beautiful, but the other islands of French Polynesia are beautiful as well. For the snoodies who want to be pampered and spend that kind of money on that, it might be for them. But if your down to earth and just want to enjoy things and have a little fun, a couple days is plenty to see it or just to dive with the manta rays, and meet some locals. The people on Bora Bora all seemed very happy and nice. I seemed to get waved to and smiled to by almost all of the locals there.

When you love water activities Bora Bora is the place to go.

When you love water activities Bora Bora is the place to go. The coral gardens on our tour have been beautiful. We spottet lot's of different and special fish species and saw sharks and rays. The blue lagoon is an attraction in itself, the view under water is really incredible. Life is expensive in here and it is obviously touristy but who would expect anything else and it is still what it is - paradise. And great fun to visit for relaxation and water activities.
