The room, the terrace with swimming pool and the lobby were very nice and comfortable. The receptionist guy, Mohan, was the nicest and most helpful person - nothing was too much for him to do.

We had the Captain´s room , which was breathtaking - the size of the bedroom itself, the unique view, this was amazing. Berautiful beach and location, friendly staff, the welcome drink was pleasant, restaurant OK. Breakfast was also ok, we have had better in other types of accomodation (about the same size) on SCH during our stay, but it was OK.

We stayed 5 nights with full board, it was the right option.
All staff very friendly and helpful.
The food in the restaurant was also very good, congratulations to the chef!

Paradise… definitely recommend to stay for a few days instead of just a day trip! Loved the laid-back vibe of the island. It only has a few cars, so very convenient to get around on foot or by bike. You can stop at the hidden beaches you discover on your way, enjoy the view of the tropical forest, and befriend the turtles you meet on your way :). For a bite, don’t miss Chez Jules, great fresh juices and amazing food!

Although I was unlucky to get 1 full day of heavy rains but I enjoyed the property with swimming pool and took a rainy walk around.
They have got best beaches and would recommend to visit Source D'argent beach for sunset.
Cycling around the beach road was also fun...!

The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches.
The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches. The only downside is that the concentration of visitors is the highest in Seychelles. That said, you can still find your spot in the shade on most beaches.

We have visited 3 islands - Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.
We would not return to La Digue, Mahe and Praslin are much more recommendable.
Anse Source de Argent and Anse Patates are very scenic, great to take pictures, but very hard to swim (stones and corals, need for special shoes), flat waters. Grand Anse is better to swim (we had big waves during our stay), but not really scenic.
Best beach on Seychelles - in our opinion - Anse-Lazio.

Unique island vibe, very friendly people (local and tourists as well), plenty of food options (shops, take-aways, restaurants). Recommend to rent bicycle and go around island to see all the beaches and spots. On the other hand a lot of running constructions, so I hope this island will keep its atmosphere forever :-)

It’s a beautiful island with stunning beaches , forest and giant tortoises. However it’s overpriced and overall service is of a low standard many times slow with no smile or no interest to make customer happy . It’s hard to get a good clean food . There are some nice takeaways though and lovely people who try to do their best but it’s not a majority .
Many shops have no prices on items . Water is not potable and the cheapest price for 12 bottles of 1l is around 15 Eur .
It’s not good destination for snorkelling as corals are very damaged and majority is bleached . Nevertheless it’s advertised as a place with stunning corals so we felt cheated when we discovered a reality of a reef . It’s still possible to see some sea animals like turtles , sting rays , tropical fish but not in abundance. We dived as well 2x but as we didn’t like much diving and they seem to us overpriced (220 for 3 tanks ) so we didn’t do more.
I personally prefer Indonesia or Maledives for snorkelling or diving .
Trips are also extremely expensive - such as 70 Eur for half day of snorkelling trip .
It’s a small island and transport is mainly by bicycle (it’s necessary to pay attention at lorries and taxis when cycling )
Overall, I think it’s good to visit for beach and nature lovers , max 1 week . It’s not good destination for snorkelling. We stayed 12 days- it was too long . It’s nice to see beaches but we wouldn’t return .
amazing location, the was nice and clean, it’s not super modern do dont expect anything like that! It is a very nice authentic seychelles hotel.
The staff was amazing!!! Elizabeth, Natalie and Rivo were the most welcoming and nice people around. they are professional at there jobs , working at least 6 days a week and who knows how many hours a day, they were still smiling, always had something nice to say to us and they were amazing with our 8months old baby sometimes they even came and hold him while we were having dinner :)
Thank you!!!
Everything ! Starting with delicious, fresh, colourful fruits and juice from the garden served with breakfast on our private terrace. We rented the bikes which were just fine and the best beaches of La Digue were all in easy reach..staying on the edge of the village we had less light pollution and incredible stargazing at night. We had dinner ‘at home’ on our terrace twice and it was excellent; delicious home cooking, creole style of course, very plentiful and very good value, and as always served with a smile from our lovely host.
We spent three nights in this hotel. It is well located in the north of La Digue, not far from the jetty terminal.
All the staff was nice and friendly.
We had a Junior suite with an amazing bathroom
We felt very well in the room and we did not want to leave.
The food at the restaurant was also very good (international and Creole food) with a large choice of food. Good Breakfast as well!
Last thing, the pool bar is most probably one of the best spot in La Digue to watch the Sunset !!
Important, WIFI is just perfect! There's a WIFI device in your room and the speed is great, not like in other places we've been to in Seychelles.
Breakfast is good, just enough to get the day started.
The room is clean and smells nice, room service is done every day. Enough space to unpack. Probably a table in the room (as on the terrace there's already one) would have been nice.
We rented bikes from the receptions.
Worth every penny. Enjoy!
it is a very pretty villa (small house) with all the required amenities, kitchen, bathroom, little pool, Good air conditioning, the beach is right opposite… loved the chicken running around free and happy coming to visit every day… friendly and helpful staff. and the best thing is very close to Anse Source d’Argent the most beautiful spot in the whole seychelles, is a must do if you visit the seychelles… 5min by bike and 15min walk 100%
- located directly on the beach facing sunset, in center of village. (Beach itself it is not swim-able only dip-able during high tide and not even that during low tide. But this applies to all properties in village and it is not accommodation fault.)
- good "island style" breakfast provided, simple but sufficient
- best wifi we had on Seychelles
- owner is always present in case you need something.
- very clean
An AMAZING property just 5-10 minutes from the jetty. We’re so thankful we started our honeymoon here! Although Calou Guest House is not on the water, it’s a quick ten minute walk away. The host made a wonderful breakfast each morning and helped arrange bicycle rentals/ jetty transfer etc.
The guest houses are comfortable, clean, and updated. I would 100% recommend you stay here on your visit to La Digue.
The staff was so friendly, the location is perfect (close to La Source d’argent so you can quickly go there in the morning before all the people arrive, it’s also close to the most beautiful beaches of the island in the southeast). The apartment is big, very clean, they have the best mattresses I have had during my stay in Seychelles.
Wow! Choose Coral Apartments! Owner and husband cooked amazing creole dinner for us. Breakfast was fabulous. Service very good , big modern room and the location was perfect. Our BEST stay in the Seychelles. Bike rental easy, location from port walking distance. Thank you for making our La Digue stay spectacular.
it was an amazing little chalet!!! right on the beach , very comfortable!! location was amazing , we rented bikes from the hotel 100 seyz rupees a day , cycled around the whole island was amazing ! the staff were super friendly and helpful, the food was amazing ! great options!! 🤩 we absolutely loved our stay!
They make us breakfast at our kitchen and after clean it up and wash dishes. Bedrooms and own bathrooms were nice and cosy. We Could wait ferry at the one room over check out time, which was kind and make the stay even better. We loved La Digue and we should have stayed longer.
Excellent location, quick access to the Anse Patates beach. The room and washroom were quite spacious. Staff was very helpful in arranging a snorkelling tour and went above and beyond to arrange our transportation back to the ferry from the hotel.
Excellent and clean room with a nice garden view. Very good breakfast. I'll recommend having dinner at the hotel. The local creole menu is tasty, cheap and there is no need to work on dark streets without pavement (as it is common in Seychelles)
Really grandma's countryside house, with beautiful view and cosy rooms, the difference between russian's variant and Seychelles' is that you see palms and rocks instead of birch and apple trees from your windows😊
Highly recommended!
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing.
Walking distance from the jetty and Anse Source D’Argent.
I highly recommend the villa for anyone visiting La Digue.
Absolutely beautiful property with very nice hosts. One of the best we stayed in Seychelles! The pool is fantasctic, very nice rooms with comfy beds, possibility to rent bikes...
The staff were very friendly and very helpful. They were really among best during our five hotels experiences in Seychelles. The hotel HR really hires the best people.
