Hotel in Uturoa
Raiatea Lodge Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, each with a large terrace overlooking the lagoon. The bar and restaurant look out onto the swimming pool and serves Tahitian and international... There really aren’t enough superlatives to describe our stay at Hotel Raiatea Lodge. Everyone on staff is delightful and goes out of their way to accommodate any requests. We stayed in room #8 in the main lodge. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and an incredible view from our balcony. The sunsets are spectacular every day. The food is outstanding and beautifully presented. We are vegetarian which the chef accommodated with delicious dishes every evening. The desserts are fantastic and the breakfast buffet is plentiful with freshly baked goods, delicious home made yogurts, cheeses, cold buts, fruit etc. The hotel offers a number of fabulous excursions through local operators which we took advantage of. They include being picked up and dropped off at the hotel which makes it all very convenient. The operators are paid directly in cash and there are several ATM’s in town so that wasn’t a problem. There is also great snorkeling right in front of the hotel. Kayaks are available to go to the Motu (15-20min.) which was a lot of fun. Car rental is also available right on site and charged directly to your room. Cars have a manual transmission and all in great shape. We rented one to drive around the island which was fun. Overall our stay at Hotel Raiatea Lodge exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return.

Follow my IG lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more details about our Moorea and Bora Bora trip. If you've got the impression that a Bora Bora escape requires shelling out around $2500 per night for a hotel, let me reassure you—it's not the case. Our five-night stay at Royal Bora Bora was a genuine delight. The place is impeccably clean, the rooms offer cozy comfort, and the lush interior garden adds a touch of tropical luxury. Conveniently situated right on the beach, next to the former Sofitel Bora Bora, we were welcomed at reception with a charming floral garland. They even handed us cards for a beach towel and snorkeling gear, sparing us the trouble of packing those essentials. We snagged a deal at $240 per night, inclusive of breakfast, thanks to a reservation on Booking. Plus, being right on the beach, Royal Bora Bora made our stay both affordable and incredibly enjoyable. It's proof that you can have a fantastic Bora Bora experience without breaking the bank. Also, the hotel is close to restaurants and the breathtaking Matira Public Beach.
