Good location (1 hr 20 min) from Bryce Canyon and Mount Carmel. Staff is wonderful, especially front desk associate, Juan, he was so helpful and friendly, and convinced me to drive to Bryce Canyon, so glad I did! Room was really nice and we had a lot of space to move around in. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Small town with amazing food options, gluten - free, dairy-free, vegetarian and other delicious options. Easy walking the 2-3 blocks for food choices and a few shops along the way. There is a store in town for good clothing and shoes for men, women and teens, choices like Levi’s, Columbia, Teva, etc., we ate at Peekaboo wood fire pizza - vegetarian, Wild Thyme Cafe and Asava Juice and Smoothies. We were there for a wedding in Orderville (22 miles north) and if you want solitude go there. If you want a small western town feel and want food choices and hotel options it’s in Kenab. We stayed at the old Parry motel for its easy outside access and its nostalgic feel but if you want newer hotels there’s plenty of offerings.

We were going to Kanab, also known as Little Hollywood,...

We were going to Kanab, also known as Little Hollywood, because Gunsmoke was filmed in the area. Part of the original set is visible today outside of town, although it is falling down. The main street of Kanab is lined with markers with information about various actors and actresses that were in Kanab to make movies, particularly in the Western heyday. The Parry Hotel where many of the actors stayed displays pictures of these guests, many autographed. There is a free Little Hollywood Museum that has a few movie set remains and props that will take about 15 minutes to see. Kanab seemed like it would be a good hub for visiting Bryce, Zion, the Grand Canyon, and several state parks. Also, there is a pharmacy in Kanab. Pharmacies are super spread out in the area.

I quiet and pleasant town. Perfect for day excursions to Zion or Bryce. There is easy to difficult hikes right in the area. Food was good. The hospitality is fantastic. My two favorites: Adria and Shannon from Adria's Restaurant.

Kanab is a nice little tourist town in a great location.

Kanab is a nice little tourist town in a great location. I've done three great guided hiking tours while here (Peekaboo slot canyon, South Coyote Butte, White Pocket) that I will never forget. Plus several wonderful national parks in the area. My complaint is a shortage of restaurants that serve breakfast. Also no bars, but alcohol is available in restaurants.

We decided for Kanab as our gateway to Bryce, Zion and GC North Rim. That being said we knew that we had to spend some time commuting but at the advantage of staying at a beautiful place for a couple of days. Cliffrose Cabin has all the amenities that you could ask for, the whirlpool was amazing, great barbecue and outdoor gas stove to do marshmallows. Kitchen fully equipped! Supermarket close by! Lee as the person to be actually present at the house was fast when we needed him (once)!

Everything is so clean! The staff was amazing. They even gave us a whole loaf of bread for the children when we arrived late at night from the Grand Canyon. They were very generous and caring. I chose the hotel because of the nice white bedding in the pictures, and it was so comfortable. The location is super convenient to everything. I always stay here when I'm in Kanab. The kids loved the waffles for breakfast and the wifi.

Sun-N-Sand hotel was a great place to stay on our trip to Kanab! The location was perfect! There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and a grocery store across the street from the hotel. The staff was great! There's a fire-pit in the common area, and the hotel staff made sure we had a nice warm fire to hangout by on a cold night. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice big motel. Good for 1-2 nights when travelling. Internet connection is weaker if your room is at the end of the hallway (we had the last room on the 2nd floor). Breakfast is very simple - not tasty cheap bread, cheapest sausages, waffles, milk and cheap sugary cereals. Don't count on this breakfast. The room is good, clean, comfortable bed. No complains.

We enjoyed our stay here at the Hampton Inn! It was right in the midst of the downtown area of Kanab. While it was downtown and there was a festive going on during our stay it was still quite by the hotel. The property was clean, and the staff was incredibly kind. We would definitely come back here and stay if we were in the area again.

It was a nice facility, pretty new and well kept. Laundry had 4 washers and dryers. which was quite nice. They only charge a max of $20 per week for pets. This was better than competing hotels in town and a major concern for me since I was volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and was taking home a cat most nights.

The hotel is relatively new. The room is very large with full kitchen facilities. The WiFi works well. There are enough utensils to cook for a family of four. All sorts of spices, and olive oil is there too. Probably the best value in town too

I like the retro look of the hotel. It is an older model but it is being updated really nicely. Location is good but Kanab is not a very big city. The staff I met were wonderful. Pretty happy with my choice to stay here.
