Grand View Resort, hotel in Meredith

Located in Weirs Beach, a 14-minute walk from Weirs Beach, Grand View Resort provides accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

We had a terrific stay. The owner was cool and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to find that we were staying in one of the cottages. I guess I didn't understand the room descriptions that well. Anyway, we stayed in one of the older cottages. The shower was a little low for my husband's height, but it didn't bother him. The owner told us that they were replacing the older cottages next year. The newer cottages will have taller showers. The cottage we stayed in was still great. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. It was pretty quiet the nights we stayed. The views were beautiful and the heated saltwater pool was lovely and clean. The resort was in a good location locally. The location also made it easy for us to explore other parts of the state. We'd stay here again. Thanks!

This is an older hotel that has been lovingly restored and landscaped. It is situated across from the water so has a semi view from each room and was quiet and peaceful. The beds were comfortable, and little thoughtful gestures were provided like extra towels, pillows, etc. The internet service was great.

Over the years Meredith has become a very congested spot.

Over the years Meredith has become a very congested spot. The original Mills area has been completely revamped for summer tourism. Areas to explore if you have a car include the Hobo Railroad, Castle in the Clouds, Gunstock Mountain, Mount Washington Cruises, and some of the smaller public beaches if you have no access otherwise. The Fall colors are indescribable in the Lakes Region. A must see.

We try to make sure we get away at least once a year .We found the Mill at the lake by accident one year Pre Covid, we asked to walk around the property and we loved it, we have been celebrating our anniversary there ever since, There's Nothing better than waking up to silence..

If you are looking for a relaxing place to go to sit and read a book, Meredith is perfect. Most of the activities we did were outside of Meredith. To be fair, there may be things to do that I just didn't know about. The weather wasn't cooperating early on in the stay either so that effected my stay.

Beautiful downtown area with shops and restaurants.

Beautiful downtown area with shops and restaurants. Their parking is plentiful (weekdays). Town Docks restaurant has delicious food and drinks and the service is great! Giuseppe’s was reasonably priced and has good food (don’t forget to make a reservation). The best part of our stay in Meredith was a boat tour in a replica of an antique boat (check out Miss Lauren’s Boat Tours)!

Meredith sits at the northern end of Lake Winnepesaukee. It's a great resort town with plenty of art galleries, pubs, restaurants, things to do and easy access to I-93. Great for leaf peeping season. Had dinner at Giuseppe's which is also recommended! Inexpensive and plentiful!

There was no breakfast at the Waterfall Cafe - closed Mon & Tues. Ate at Lago for dinner it was good food but closed by 10pm - can't sit and have a drink after. Lakehouse Grill for a drink at the bar for the view is good IF you can get a seat because half of it was closed because of lack of staff. I have been to the Cascade Spa in the past and it use to be good but have no idea this trip - it was probably closed to due to lack of staff. We enjoyed going off the property to NASWA and to Weirs Beach the Tiki Huts.

From the moment I was greeted to the time of our departure Bernadette made us feel extremely welcome. The inn was beautiful, clean and welcoming. The complimentary beverages were greatly appreciated. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening with a glass of wine. Our breakfast chef/server was delightful and the made to order breakfast was delicious. All in all it was a wonderful stay. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. If we are in the area we will be sure to return!

Beautifully renovated place in a quiet residential neighborhood, a quick walk to the best part of Meredith with all the shops. Easy to get in via keypad, easy parking, good Wi-Fi, solid kitchen and comfy living room. Location is perfect. Walk to Meredith center and a quick drive to Weirs Beach and Center Harbor. It is on a big hill. If you’re in poor shape walking that hill might be tough, but we didn’t mind at all. 10/10 highly recommend!

Really beautiful colonial style BnB. Friendly inn keeper. Nice seating area in the living rooms. Tons of porch seating spaces over looking the backyard and sunset. Very charming BnB with lots of unique characters. Breakfast was delicious, and the pancake was super soft. This beats any 5 star chain hotel with its beautiful colonial style charms throughout the entire house.

The Nutmeg in is the most exceptional Bed and Breakfast we’ve ever had the pleasure to stay at, and innkeepers Kevin and Karen are are wonderful! They made our stay a joy and we hated to leave. Between the beauty and charm of the inn and gardens and the care and attention of the hosts this is an opportunity to experience an unparalleled stay in a perfect location.

Great location. Walkable into Meredith. Nice newly renovated apartment. Lots of windows and natural light. It felt secluded and private. Owners were right next door, but with the keyless entry it was easy in and out. Perfect for my wife and I for the weekend.
