With a dome reminiscent of Brunelleschi’s "The Duomo" in Florence, the Hungarian parliament building is undoubtedly the icon of Budapest. It sits majestically by the Danube, the river that both divides and unifies the 2 parts of this capital city: Buda and Pest.
Overseeing Budapest from its vantage point on Castle Hill is Buda Castle. Spectacularly lit at night, it offers the best views across this attractive city steeped in World Heritage. Some unique points of interest are Heroes Square and the Museum of Terror, reminders of the city’s more turbulent past.
Much like in Vienna further up the Danube, coffee and cake is practically an institution in Budapest. And there’s nowhere better to try this than Gerbeaud - the elaborate décor alone makes this café well worth a visit.
To really feel like a local, make a trip to the thermal baths. The relaxed Gellért Baths are a triumph of Art Nouveau grandeur, while based on their sheer size, you can't miss the outdoor Széchenyi Baths. If unusual nightlife is your thing, the club nights at these baths are great fun.
With an impressive range of Budapest hotels, apartments and hostels on offer in this city of 2 halves, Booking.com makes your choice completely easy.

This is my 4th visit in 2 years it’s a fantastic city with so much to see and do. The public transport is excellent and the architecture is magnificent you could spend days just wandering around on foot and stopping for coffee food or beee etc as required. The people are helpful and lovely. It’s also a great base to visit other nearby places from. I’ve taken side trips to Belgrade, Bratislava, Vienna and Ljubljana using Flix bus or train. Final tip avoid tourist traps by veering into a side street and you will find prices much more affordable Example walk west on Jokai Ucta off Andrassy or walk down O Ucta that runs parallel with Andrassy

Beautiful city, reminded me of Vienna.
Beautiful city, reminded me of Vienna. Lots to see on bith sides of the river 'Buda' and 'Pest', museums, palaces, large squares, riverside walks, vintage tram rides, open air thermal baths, island in the river, shopping, nighlife...etc etc...Budapest has it all!

I liked the churches best, for more than religious experiences, but the opera was also a religious experience, even before the performance. Music also heightened ecclesiastical visits. The whole city was good for my soul. It was on my bucket list, but I haven't crossed it off. I'm flying back again soon. Already booked.

Beautiful city. Very clean.
Beautiful city. Very clean. Excellent for strolling around, enjoying the views, sitting at cafes, eating in restaurants and catching a show at the opera. A tip about shows at the opera... they offer same day tickets (not sure if it is only the standing ones) one hour before the day time shows and 2 hours before the night shows. Watched an opera for 4 euros for a standing seat! Which was cheaper than paying to see the building itself!

Probably the most beautiful city in Europe, where you can really understand what does it mean european charm. If you want to see Paris, Rome, Barcelona but you have not opportunities - you have to go here, and feel everything in one place. Wonderful - is the best word for characteristic.
The hotel is located in a lovely part of Budapest with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, within walking distance to the city centre.
The lady at the reception desk when we arrived was genuinely pleasant and helpful, she gave us information on how to properly pay for parking on the street and about our stay.
We had a room with a view into the backyard, which provided us with silence for good sleep.
The breakfast included in the price was tasty and as expected in hotels across Europe. (The coffee could be a bit better.)
The boat has an amazing view of the Parliament building and enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck is priceless. Breakfast was really good and diverse.
The bathroom is quite small, but it is a boat after all, so that was not a big issue.
The room was very clean and the staff always friendly, polite and helpful.
Parking is available close by, so the hotel is a great option if you want to avoid the crowded areas in the center where access by car is limited, but still feel an authentic Budapest atmosphere.
The hotel looks a little bit shabby on the outside, but inside it’s completely renovated and looks beautiful and modern.
The breakfast was fine, simple, and provided something for everyone.
The staff was always incredibly helpful and kind!
It’s a little further away from the city centre but super close to a metro and busstation which will get you into the city with no time.
I would 100% recommend if you’re travelling to Budapest by car because of the free parking that comes with your stay!!
Location was perfect - right in the city centre with shops and cafes / restaurants on the same street. The reception staff were lovely and helpful, they even let us check in early as the room was ready on arrival. Very clean and beautifully decorated room, bed was huge and very comfortable! Would definitely recommend staying here, the price was great compared to other nearby hotels. We will return on our next visit to Budapest! Thank you
Location is outstanding, right in the city centre, and all of Budapest's biggest attractions can be reached on foot.
Room was bright, modern and cleaned daily.
Air conditioning worked perfectly well, essential as the weather was very hot.
Iron and kettle were provided for me on arrival.
Breakfast was nice, perfectly adequate for a three star hotel.
All staff I engaged with were pleasant.
WOW. Everything in this place was amazing! I live a 25 minute train ride from Budapest center but missed my train… so I checked on booking to see if a hotel was cheaper than taking a taxi. And OH MY GOODNESS! I was extremely surprised by this beautifully decorated and efficient loft space! I’d love to stay again and will recommended to others because the value for price is truly unbelievable.
Amazingly welcoming staff, beautiful rooms, very calm and relaxing atmosphere away from the noise of the city centre. We slept better than we ever have thanks to the super comfortable beds and extremely quiet rooms. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we would happily return to Kozmo next time we’re in Budapest. A real gem of a hotel.
I've stayed at this hotel for the third time due to its great location in Budapest's city centre. There are a lot of restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood, and most of Budapest's attractions are within walking distance. Also, there's a metro station just a few blocks down the street.
One of the best hotels in Budapest! Very nice, spacious and comfortable rooms. Good size bathroom and very cozy bed. The Reception staff was very professional, kind and helpful. The breakfast was also delicious. Big plus for the private parking.
I will definitely book again!
The hotel location in a green residential area, easy to reach by car from Budapest's city centre.
The view from the room was very nice.
24h reception.
Free parking.
Cleanliness.
Mosquito nets on the windows allow to keep them open anytime.
I visit Budapest often and had great experience with most hotels but this was the best yet. I will be happy to book here again. The location, price, rooms, updates & service was exceptional along with the breakfast.
I had a good time here in Budapest, and I liked the hotel a much. My bed was so comfortable, everybody was kind, everrything was clean, and it located in the city centre. The price is convenient as well.
Best hotel for location (city centre - walking distance from everything) and value (not as pricey as others).
The staff are super friendly.
The atmosphere is warm and cozy.
