Great location right on the beach , near to beachside restaurants 50 - 100 metres to the right and right in the small town centre for more restaurants, cafes and supermarket. Kalyves is a very relaxed place , retaining a traditional feeling not touristy in the slightest. Mixture of nationalities , French, German, Polish, British, Israelis and more. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Two nice swimming pools outdoor and one indoor pool in the spa. Water was a bit chilly but was mid may so not surprising.

Beautiful stone house in the hills above Chania with glorious views of the mountain's and valleys. Very spacious for 2 and outdoor balcony area was most welcome. A good central location in a very quiet village away from the hustle and bustle of the coast.

You have to keep in mind that this accommodation offers more than you pay for.. The house is spacious with everything you need. Huge terrace downstairs and also upstairs. Very quiet area. Good Internet with good phone signal, great if you're working remotely. (This is what we did) Air-conditioning on each room. Well equipped kitchen. Good washing machine. The bed sheets were clean. The weather in the evening is amazing. We had chill nights to enjoy. The TV from upstairs is perfect for netflix.

Some of the most friendly and helpful staff I’ve ever come across with amazing studio rooms for the price. Amazing location, accessible by bus (7 minute uphill walk) or car with its own car park with amazing views. Lots of food options less than 2 minutes walk into Aptera with an even closer mini market that I would recommend for snacks and drinks. The owners also messaged me through WhatsApp and were on hand to help me with any issues I had or suggestions for activities and bus routes going forwards on my travels. They were happy to accommodate a later checkout time also which made the whole experience more comfortable! Clean rooms with lots of space and a really nice pool and poolside area, I would highly recommend!
