The owner is absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating. They bought and began renovating this hotel not long ago and have done an amazing job so far! They are receptive to suggestions and always available when you need something extra such as towels, pillows etc...The location is great and the room is very clean and comfortable. We have stayed here multiple times and love it every single time!

Great waterfront with free parking and plenty for kids.
Great waterfront with free parking and plenty for kids. A lot of great places to eat for different budgets. We ate at Theo’s, Fionn McCools and Thai Plate.
You will need a vehicle to get around.
Just don’t stay at the Stone Gate Inn.

Simple, clean, everything you need! Fridge and microwave and a balcony over looking the lake are a plus. Nothing fancy but the owners are super nice and it's very reasonable.
Tim Horton's is just down the street and there is lots to do in Orillia or just sit back with a drink on the balcony overlooking the scenery!

Orillia is a perfect get-away spot.
Orillia is a perfect get-away spot. Casino is handy, boat tour on Lake Couchiching worth taking, boutiques for shopping, Low Carb #1 on Rama Rd. great selection for diet conscious people, and a variety of terrific eating places. Fair priced accommodations throughout the city and I highly recommend Lakeside Inn on Creighton.

Only disappointing thing was that at check in, I was told they keep complimentary cookies in lobby after check in times. I was so looking forward to it. Checked every hour from check in till 8pm and there was not any brought out. When I asked night time desk guy. Chinese guy, Alex I think or Eric something like that. He was not friendly. Said the cookies were frozen in the back. I requested one or two for my husband and I but he refused to get us one. Got the impression that he was just not wanting to make an effort or do anything on his night shift but sit in the back room. Was sadly disappointed.
Beautiful hotel, seems like a repurposed apartment building from the ‘50s. The stone work is wonderful from the fascia through the lobby. Our room had a wonderful entry space that led in to what would’ve been a living room with a kitchen close to the side. The washroom was incredible with a door from the entrance and another from the bedroom - standing shower, and soaker/jacuzzi tub were placed perfectly. Loved our stay.
Everything…the bed was comfortable, the room clean and new. Great shower! Beautiful window shades. Great TV. Fantastic friendliness of the staff. Personal touch of welcoming me with my name on the TV! The staff accommodated our family all to stay on the 7 rooms on the 5th floor as we were coming together for my Dad’s funeral. He would have loved it that we were all on the same floor of this beautiful hotel. Thank you.
I loved the pool. The water was warm and the pool was large. The staff was super nice and kind. And the room was spacious. The tv is quite large and I enjoyed watching Netflix. Internet was good. Bed was comfortable. Location is good right beside Tim Hortons and shoppers drug mart. And they have an arcade attached to the hotel. I’d recommend this place.
Great hotel
Rooms were clean
Bed comfortable
Nice little kitchenette with our room
Staff friendly
Continental breakfast included
Pool was clean and warm
Air conditioning wasn't working properly due to storm that past through
Would stay again
Regardless
we stayed here on our way in to Southern Ontario and there was no question that we would stay on the back. Great views, right across from a lovely little beach and great sunsets! The bed was super comfortable. Owners are a delight!
We went down to Rama to watch a concert.
Rama was sold out and ended up getting hotel here - it was close to Rama and they offer shuttle buses to and from for $10.00 per person.
The beds were surprisingly comfortable.
Appreciated breakfast. It was fine but the room was too small, crowded and some food items were not readily available. When there is a large group staying at hotel and all eating at once, better planning would help.
Everything was good. It’s a small older hotel but nice and clean. Ice machine was broken but the guy at the front went out and got us a bag of ice from the store. He was super friendly and very polite.
It said breakfast included which is one main reason I chose it, but when we checked in the service staff said no breakfast, there is even no hairdryer which should be a basic appliance for a hotel.
Overall the room was fine with a couch and desk area. The hotel seemed quiet with no noise coming from other rooms or outside. The location was near walking trails and the main water/beach area.
Staff were great, small issue with room, reported it, was fixed quickly.
Price, most hotels are trying to recoup there losses from the pandemic, costs are stupid at most hotels.
The pillows and beds we exceptionally comfortable, we both were very impressed with the pillows and beds.
The hotel was also only a few minutes walk from my appointment.
It was a lovely charming boutique hotel.
Contemporary interior.
Everything in its place. Very clean.
exceptional friendly staff :)
The breakfast area was perfect.
We were attending an event really close by. The location and the price compared to other accommodations in Orillia were the deciding factors to stay there.
