Great location very near the beach. Friendly, efficient staff, especially manger in restaurant who was extremely efficient and spoke very good English. English speakers are seated at specific tables to be served in English. The room had a bath, which after a long day on the trail was much appreciated.

An interesting town with a very picturesque town centre, a fabulous puppet museum, and many cafes and tavernas, also nice shops.
We recommend an excellent restaurant called Xare--exceptional food at very reasonable prices. And Hotel Oria is a great place to stay.

a small town with character, lively atmosphere , surrounded by hills, good to wander round, plenty of Bars & restaurants, a pleasant river walk, all surrounded by dramatic Basque mountains.
Not far off main auto route across northern Spain so great place to break a longer journey
Great staff nothing too much trouble. Always a smiling face, which is great to see. Location great bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Train station 3 minutes walk away. Bus station a lot further, not easy walking on cobble streets with wheely suitcases. Nice coffee shop under the hotel which was very nice. Also a restaurant which we didn’t get chance to try. It opens as 8.30 until 10.00 in the evenings. It is definitely worth more than one star. Stay here you won’t be disappointed.
We are two cyclists on a ride from Cadiz to San Sebastian. Our needs are simple we seek a clean bed and a hot shower – the hotel provided both
There was no reception - the keys were left at the local bar - on Sunday the bar had a full house and we were an extra
It is a great modern restoration - very comfortable and well sound proofed - the main railway line is behind the hotel and you would never know
The entrance is from a lively square and full of life
The restaurant was convenient, though the service left a lot to be desired.
The ease of checkin (after figuring out how to do it - booking emails don’t work, so you have to find the email address of the hotel, begin a new correspondence, and send documents. Then, you hope they’ve arrived because there’s no confirmation of reception of email - not fun, considering you just emailed photos of your passports to some email address)
The staff was great at the hotel and the restaurant. I went to the local mass and stopped by early, left bikepacking bags in their storage, they brought them to the room when free. I cycled to Lekunberri and back to watch '23 Vuelta. Also had an excellent dinner at their restaurant. Tolosa is a beautiful place.
The location is great, ideal for seeing Tolosa. There were 2 couples staying and having 2 toilets was a bonus. Everything that we needed was at the property. We had a lovely stay and Tolosa is a nice place, well worth a visit. Casa Julian de Tolosa is the steak house to visit.
The hotel and restaurant were well kept. The quaintness of the boutique restaurant. It was located in the plaza. The rooms were huge. This hotel and town were awesome and the surprise of the trip! Definitely eat at the restaurant! Food was great and the prices were fair.
Very large apartment, well furnished (super nice style!), comfortable and close to city centre, amenities and grocieries. Josu was fast responding, always eager to help, and supporting. Will definitely come back here if in need to visit Tolosa again! Super suggested
It is a really nice hotel in a very quaint town in the Basque country of Spain. If you are planning to visit the two famous steakhouses in this town, Casa Julian and Casa Nicholas, this is the hotel for you to stay.
Quality of the room, bathroom and hotel. It's excellent. Comfortable beds. Well furnished. Well designed. Amazing shower pressure.
Availability of tea and coffee in lounge area.
They tried to renovate this hotel and it looks nice esthetically but is let down by the big ticket items, bed, sound. Great location and beautiful town.
