Very Friendly staff which was welcoming, and ensured our stay was comfortable. Great food in the pub, nice bathroom and comfy beds. We had to leave before breakfast was officially open and the staff set us off with baps and drinks to go! Plus they provide a fan which is always a huge bonus.
Featuring a garden, Balcarres, Rodborough Avenue features accommodations in Stroud. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are accessible at the bed and breakfast free of charge.

Stroud is quite a big town in Gloucestershire and, as such, it has all of the shops and amenities one would expect. Plus, with a taxi rank, train station and frequent bus services to/from Cheltenham and Gloucester, among other places, the town is well connected. I would recommend it as a base from which to explore Gloucestershire.

Vibrant, friendly and historic town full of stylish places to eat and drink, unique gift shops surrounded by beautiful countryside. Local bus service was also very reliable on the Saturday ( well - better than my own at home anyway!). Public toilets in the town were clean and convenient.
I was on my own but felt safe even at nighttime.
Would recommend the indoor market, Stroud Bookshops, as well as Cornflower and Calico for kitchenware gifts. The Coffee House and Curio Lounge Cafe Bar were great places to visit as well.

Amberley Inn was in a village outside Stroud, the area was very picturesque and plenty to do in the area. The Aboretum at Batsford was exceptional with lovely autumn colour and the Cotswold Villages are a delight.

The whole area is protected, as are the Cotswolds and its a must stay.
Well connected by the train and buses with a labyrinth of country lanes and greenery for car travellers.
A canal and lots of old industrial history, once a main centre of the SW England WOOL TRADE, it remains rich with villages pubs restaurants, hill top views and lowland vales, many clear for 20 to 30 miles 360 degrees, a paradise to behold

Went to watch Giffords Circus at Minchinghampton Common, the show was fantastic and the atmosphere great, ate in the local pub, good food but a tad on the expensive side.
Lovely area of the Country to visit
The room we stayed in was really beautiful and spacious. There was plenty of storage space and it even had a chaise lounge to relax on. The bed was large and very comfortable. The food at The Falcon is excellent and we can recommend the pies which were really tasty. The breakfast is great too with plenty of choice cooked well. We really liked Painswick it is a really pretty village with lovely walks around it.
Super-friendly owners George and Grace gave us a warm, personal welcome. Attractive old stone building with modern, comfortable rooms inside. Excellent breakfast (not included in price) and meals available. Pub attached to hotel has a great country vibe (and good selection of ales). Located a bit outside Stroud but easily accessible by car (good parking) or taxi. Close to the Cotswolds Way. Highly recommended!
Beautiful flat, well-equipped. The owner gave plenty of information both about the property and the local area. The welcome food pack was great. Fantastic views over surrounding country. Nice location, mainly quiet and not too far from station and town centre, though better to take a car or taxi if you have luggage. I didn't bring a car but good parking if you do. Would definitely stay here again.
Though next door to a thriving pub, our stay was quiet and restful. It is so handy to have the pub next door with its excellent menu. The village location is pleasant and walks are easily accessible. Easy access to Stroud was a reason to choose this location, and the drive (short route on Sat Nav!) was interesting for its narrow lanes and picturesque villages.
Our stay at the Burleigh Court Hotel exceeded the (already high) expectations we had for our trip to the Cotswolds. The location is stunning, the staff was very friendly and helpfull with good suggestions for local activities and places to go to. The gardens and many places to sit are superb. We can highly recommend this hotel for your trip to the Cotswolds
We love this small hotel and the personal service you get as a result. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the rooms are quirky with great views of the surrounding area. The full English breakfast is superb and the overall atmosphere makes for a very comfortable stay.
Breakfast was excellent. First time I have ever had spinach with a full English. My daughter tells me this is typical Stroud breakfast.
Nice and clean and spacious. I felt like part of the decour as my T-shirt had the same promotion as one of the posters on the pub wall.
I went there for playing golf in Minchinhampton Golf Club. The location is perfect, not only for the golf but also for exploring the Cotswold Area. The bed is comfortable. I enjoy staying with the family of Emily, which made me feel at home.
it is situated in a quiet area on the outskirts of Stroud.
lots of roadside parking.
Although we did not have time on our trip for sightseeing, we could see that Stroud is situated in an area of great natural beauty.
Great location, apartments were nicely sized and clean. The host was very accommodating and spent lots of time helping to arrange our stay and also to give us tips on what to do in the area.
The location was good for walking to the main attractions of the area and hiking the hills of the area. The parking spot was wonderful. The apartment was spacious.
The hotel was in a convenient location for Stroud. The facade looks impressive and the room was quiet. The bedding and towels were clean, as was the bathroom.
