Everything was amazing. Food was very good. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Friends from Newbury met us at the Ibex for dinner and will also return. Ibex is 15 km from Newbury Centre. Countryside is very beautiful, but transport is essential. Loved every minute. Restaurant and pub on the premises makes the Ibex a superb place to stay.

If there is no air conditioning in the room, there should be fans available for ALL rooms in the event of hot weather. Room was unbearably hot. Sleep was scarce as a result. The rest of the stay was very good.

The location provided easy access to some of the sacred sites around the area, we drove to the Uffingham horse then walked to Wayland Smithy, before driving back south to Avebury and then home. The hotel was clean well cared for and the cost was incredibly cheaper than we expected. Thank you

As booked far enough in advance it was very reasonable and importantly allowed a dog. The room itself, was as expected spartan but comfortable , with a bathroom , yes an actual small bath and not just a shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did not do this as we were tired.
