We have been going to Seefeld for over 20 years, and have stayed in perhaps 8 different hotels. We have looked at Klosterbrau many times, but it is by far the most expensive hotel in the region. It has always been My wifes dream to stay there, so this year we booked a 3 day stay, full board.
The hotel is extremely well run and you feel that the moment you walk in. The reception staff are very professional, really helpful. Our car and luggage were taken care of, we literally didn't have to do anything.
Our room was not ready so we went for a walk and a bite to eat, came back a few hours later.
We were given this huge key for the room, we went up to our floor (2) but stopped on the first floor because they have one of their special rooms open for guests to look at. This room was incredible! Bath in an open plan bedroom/living room, with its own infrared sauna and balcony. It was stunning, unfortunately our room was nothing like that. It was tiny, freezing cold, the window didn't open or close properly, there were cigarette burns on the bedside table and the carpets didn't look the cleanest. (please bare in mind this is €500 per night).
The bathroom was OK, the shower was good. Coffee machine was good, and excellent WiFi.
The hotel prides itself on the spa area, which to be honest is amazing, but it does not open the pool until 8am. This baffles me because so many people (My wife included) want to swim before breakfast and be on the slopes at 9am when they open. Back to the spa, it's amazing what they have done to create this spa area, notably the nude area. It is all molded into old cave like passageways with lots of relaxation rooms, romantic dining rooms and wine tasting area, the atmosphere is wonderful, with Gregorian chant music playing in the background, topped off with everyone in brown bathrobes to resemble the monks that once used these passageways. It truly is something to experience.

Seefeld is half an hours taxi ride from the airport.
Seefeld is half an hours taxi ride from the airport. Perfect for a quick weekend away skiing with plenty of accommodation just a few minutes walk away from the slopes or cable cars. or for a weekend walking holiday in the summer. The village itself is probably a little small for longer holidays but would make a great base, The train station, (just a few minutes walk from pretty much the whole village), affords easy access to Innsbruck, or just half an hour away in the other direction, Germany.

We came for cross-country skiing, and about half of the time the conditions were excellent, other days were somewhat rainy, with one day with heavy rain. But that's weather. The tracks were in excellent shape, payment very reasonable (only €45 for up to three weeks!). All in all we were happy with our vacation.

Seefeld is a beautiful area surrounded by mountains.
Seefeld is a beautiful area surrounded by mountains. We stayed in the summer and it was hot. There is no air conditioning anywhere so be prepared and bring a fan if staying during the summer. The local hiking is amazing and difficult. We enjoyed a walk up to the Wild Moos Alm where there is a restaurant that is surrounded by cows with bells around their necks. We also did a great hike through a gorge called the Kinderparadies Leutasschklamm.

We have now stayed here twice, and love the location, the "traditional" feeling of the apartment, and the space. If you want a minimalist Ikea-fitted apartment, that could be in any town, then this is not for you. However, if you want to feel you are in a proper, loved, traditional Austrian building, yet with everything you need close to hand, this will be perfect. The location - near the railway station and high street, but still quiet and residential - was also fab.
Staff were so kind and cool.
We had to arrive late and it was arranged without even the slightest issue.
Wonderful view, good breakfast, excellent options for whatever you need, they even let you borrow walking sticks and boots.
Rooms are classic and very clean.
The hotel is very very well maintained, and very "in" with the latest tech.
Parking always available.
The room has many facilities - small refrigerator, kettle, sofa, cool balcony.
Hansi & Markus - keep it up!
This hotel is a surprise! you know when we're in a cozy countryside hotel, it would usually also have an outdated bathroom...and smelly or moldy. However this is not the case in Olympia, I like the fact that the bathroom is exceptionally clean, bright and does cater well to us. In addition, everything that served at breakfast was good and fresh, room was meticulously cleaned and scented. Staffs are the gem. Love the Austrian hospitality :)
Everything was fantastic. It’s a whole experience in itself staying there. This is the life work of a woman and you can just tell it in every single little part of the place. Everything it thought of. Every little detail. Much of it is quite unnecessary but I am here for it and I love it. It is VERY clean and the mountain view is amazing. It’s close to everything - center, shops, nature. It’s just perfect. 10/10 Austrian experience.
The hotel was excellent, spacious, clean rooms and there was an atmosphere of homeyness. The staff at the hotel were very accommodating.Breakfast was great, very varied and delicious. The waitresses served fresh coffee and omelettes. In summary if you are travelling in the Innsbruck area, this is an excellent option. Although it is 25 minutes from the city centre but you enjoy quiet and relative proximity to the city.
Staff was really friendly and we were super pleased as when we came to eat breakfast in the morning, we had a table ready for us with confetti and the candle, which they lit up as soon as we came. It was my fiancees birthday but we hadn't said anything to the staff, all we did is just filled basic forms as we checked and in to the hotel and they must find out then and made a little, but super pleasant surprise.
We booked it last minute for a night, and it was such a good value for money that we asked to stay for another night (that ended up being cheaper through the hotel’s price). The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was perfect - 5 minutes from the city center by walking. Also, breakfast was amazing!
Lovely hotel in very good location near to station and centre of town. Room was large and plenty of wardrobes etc. Perhaps only hotel i have stayed where toilet is separate from bathroom, but not an issue. Breakfast very good, although seating area we had was a few steps and room away from buffet area.
Exceptional stay in all respects: excellent facilities with marvelous views, top-notch service, attentive and welcoming staff. Amazing quality and variety of food for dinner, very good breakfast. The hotel set the benchmark of the highest quality of stay for us. Highly recommended.
Lovely Austrian style chalet. A short walk from the Seefeld train station, easily reached from Innsbruck. Good restaurants and a charming village. We took a regional bus to Leutasch for cross country skiing. Hearty breakfast in a picturesque dining room and a wonderful host.
The staff was extremely nice and very accommodating. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk away from the lake and the town center and all it’s attractions are within walking distance. The SPA area was probably the highlight of our trip and the dinner was immaculate!
Staff just amazing: Responsive, caring, giving all the tips and info!
Hotel: Stylish warm and cozy with a very nice feeling and knowing that you will definitely will go there again. Nice pool and Sauna and also nice breakfast.
We loved the cleanliness, attention to detail, food choice at meal times, friendliness of staff. Our son and partner stayed for two nights and are vegan, the hotel went out of their way to provide an excellent vegan menu.
There are gatherings on a daily basis at night by young people who cause inconvenience to the residents of the hotel. I spoke with the hotel management, unfortunately, they did not respect the tourists
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially the ladies during breakfast and Mr. Ivan were exceptional. The spa area and the hotel in general is perfect.
