The house is in a lovely, quiet spot. Mary was very accommodating to us arriving after dinner. The large room is on the first floor and contains tea/coffee facilities, a TV and a glass-door partition containing the shower, a sink and the toilet. There is also a small open wardrobe space. Mary was very nice to talk to.

A very unique house with interesting furniture and decoration. An exceptional breakfast including home made carrot and walnut cake baked by an entertaining host who looked after us very well.
The Station House Hotel is nestled in breathtaking gardens and woodland. The comfortable haven has been lovingly restored from a converted railway station.

Room was extremely dark, even with lights on. Central light in room not working.
Not great for getting ready to leave for a sons wedding in another location. Son who was the groom was in room next door and lighting very poor also. Pulled back all curtains but then others outside could see in.

So much to do in the area.
So much to do in the area. I loved the scenic drives and historic buildings. Shame you have to book online for some things. Not everyone has this facility. Also some places have stopped taking cash and a lot of people still want to pay cash for things.

The town is quite small and compact and has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. When we were there it was packed with young kids and youths (late afternoon/early evening). Not sure if this is a regular thing. You can get a direct bus from Dublin

Well, it's my home town, so what can I say? I wish I'd never left it. The amenities and general have greatly improved over the last 55 years, but then the town has also got bigger - from 5,000 population to over 30,000.

Unfortunately we only had one night's stay.
Unfortunately we only had one night's stay. Great shopping Centre with lots of shops to browse around. Plenty places to eat out. Plenty Bars and we had dancing in the Bar of the Ardboyne Hotel which was very close to The Yellow House B&B where we stayed. Really enjoyed our night out in Navan and it was great to get around walking all the time we were there and not have to get Taxi's.
Location includes beautiful areas for a relaxing walk, including a small garden-like area with follies. Zoe was responsive to inquiries with useful information to help us plan.
Be sure to start your day off right with a walk to the tearoom for breakfast. If you can, visit the ruins of Bective Abbey just a few miles away. If you want good food and a pint in downtown Navan, try The Central.
Navan is not so close to Brú na Bóinne as Drogheda, but the drive from Navan is scenic and really doesn't take very long, so if you have motor...
The structure is beautiful, and the facilities are great, including the Bathhouse Spa, with its outdoor jacuzzi and amazing masseuses.
The restaurant was very nice and the food delicious.
This hotel is pet friendly and this was a big plus for us as we went with our two Frenchies. The staff was very accommodating and went the extra mile to let us have a great breakfast in the restaurant.
I would like to mention Ger, who made us feel very welcome with our furry kids and even gave them some treats, really kind.
The Groom's Cottage is a special place, an outbuilding on a historic Irish estate that goes back at least to the 17th century, amid a grove of tall trees in the Meath countryside. Hosts were friendly and provided everything we needed, but entirely hands-off. We would have enjoyed staying more than two nights. Location is very central to see the ancient and historic sites of the Boyne Valley. Pubs and restaurants are around 10-15 minutes away in Navan or Johnstown.
Firstly this bed and breakfast is very deceiving as it’s like a little hotel very spacious and is much bigger than it seems we stay in lots of hotels throughout Ireland and our most recent one been a four star and the breakfast here was far superior than that of a hotel was piping hot and freshly made can certainly say was one of the best I have had was very impressed with this accommodation and will definitely return staff were very helpful also
Robbie, the manager and Claire, the Evening Manager were extremely helpful, professional , polite and courteous.
The morning breakfast restaurant staff were cheery and their were prompt, fast and accurate. The Ladies who keep the rooms spotless were a delight and most helpful.
Many thanks to the Ardboyne Hotel staff, they are the people who make this hotel highly recommended.
I look forward to return visit.
Great location near Navan quiet and close enough to shop for groceries, gas or anything else we wanted. The cottage was very comfortable and suited our family of four perfectly! Our teenage kids loved the house and we are looking forward to visit again in the future. Next time I will schedule a Spa treatment!
Very welcoming host, spacious and spotless room and toilet. It was like being in our own apartment.
Extremely comfortable bed. Slept soundly.
Breakfast was lovely, friendly affair.
We were dropped to the hotel of the wedding we were attending by the host. A very appreciated touch.
I got married in a local hotel and needed accommodation for the weekend. The apartment exceeded all expectations. Couldn't fault the apartment in any way. It was spotless and finished to a very high standard. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. Highly recommend!
Overall the hotel was clean and well maintained. The room was small but worked for the 3 family members. The common dining area and living room were a nice benefit to offset the smaller size of the room. The breakfast was great and service excellent.
The location was very central, the hotel itself had old fashioned charm and a lovely cozy atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was great. I can recommend the Newgrange Hotel for a relaxing stay.
Comfortable and quiet room in an older hotel with lovely old woodwork in the lobby and pub area. Staff was very pleasant. Large hotel with several dining options. The pub has a particularly nice ambience.
Great location, only 10 min walk from Navan town centre, very welcoming hosts, very clean guest house, ample car parking, very good breakfast. Very close to miles of beautiful walks along the Boyne river
The breakfast I had was a veggie one. It was filling. The location suited to our requirement as the function we attended was 5 minutes taxi ride. Also, it was closer to the Navan town centre
Fantastic location. 30 minutes from Tayto Park. The apartment was spotless and so comfortable. Nice quiet location. Can get food delivery from Navan. Will definitely stay here again!
Location was perfect for travelling around the Boyne Valley and was also nice and quiet. In easy reach of Navan for essential shopping. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
The owners were delightful! We arrived early afternoon and they allowed us to check-in as well as giving us directions for dinner and the walk downtown.
