Amazing view and the perfect location. We loved sitting on the terrace eating breakfast and dinner, watching the boats come and go.
The 15-20 minute walk through the beautiful forest takes you to the viewpoint or down into town. This was perfect for us as we like walking and the views were stunning.
The facilities were excellent. Every little detail has been thought of, from tea, coffee, jam, honey etc to everything you could possibly need in the bathroom.
Beds were very comfortable and it was spotlessly clean.

Tor is a great host and we spent two very comfortable nights in his apartment. There was everything you could possibly need stored in creative and cozy ways. We enjoyed the music box while cooking and after a short time got used to the gas stove. We had a really nice time and enjoyed our stay and when we come back to Ålesund we will definitely stay here again!

Supermarket is quite far but if you have a car is no problem.Also if you need some shopping you can go to Moa which is 15 min by car. There's a ferry and a bus stop. Trails to the woods is quite nice, you can spend a very nice day there.
