The location is great, just an easy walk from the wharf. The room was comfortable however was hot, facilities are good and the people who own the business are really nice! Their food downstairs is delicious also!

Staff were very helpful and friendly and I liked the communal dinner except the first night included a can of beer each. The next night didnt so would be good if they had a blackboard of the menu and price for the meal up in advance.
Loved being able to use the kayak and paddleboard. Thank you.
This is more backpacker accommodation not hotel or resort style accommodation. We had a few issues with our room which they fixed quickly.
Well done for providing free water bottle refills. Thank you.
Lots of seating areas to chill. This is a nice rustic place to stay and chill at while being near the local community.

I had a lovely stay here- the location was perfect- close to lots of restaurants and bars yet quiet at night, right next to a great sunset view. I stayed in the single hut- the bed was comfortable and there was a fan that worked well.
Nice for walks. nice bays, beaches. The nicest beach and resort i think is lazy beach I think. It is more remote very much built into the jungle and layed back , snorkling available - good corals if the water is clear apparently. You can walk from there accross to the main beach: Saracene bay, not far.

Prior to travelling to Sanloem I read online that there are no roads on the island and was therefore quite shocked to see the massive, wide, bulldozed dirt roads that had been carved into the island's untouched jungle. Upon investigating the matter, we found out that a Chinese owned company has rented half of the island from Cambodian government and is planning on building big hotels and casinos around the island. So, what you saw during your visit year ago is totally different from this year. I dread to think what the island will looklike in 5-10 years time.

Long Time Visitors to Koh Rong Sanloem.
Long Time Visitors to Koh Rong Sanloem. Stayed at Lazy Baech for many years when it was only accommodation on Island and Saracen Bay was development free and a 25min walk through Jungle. Now they have cleared a 4 lane road through the Jungle from Saracen Bay to Lazy Beach. Just stayed at M'pai bay for first time and it my new favorite location in Koh Rong Sanloem. Nice village feel in nice bay with a fantastic main beach around the headland that is not developed. Lots of great Food and Drink options and allround friendly owners.

Nice and quiet island, small enough to cover the main sights on foot. We loved lazy beach but weren't so impressed by Saracen bay. This is mainly because of the amount of rubbish in the water/sand but I guess it depends on the currents/wind. The island itself has very basic facilities and reduce accessibility, I don't think it would be suitable to someone on a wheelchair or using crutches.

This is a great place to relax and sit around on the beach, plenty of activities if you want but we just relaxed.
We ate at Saracen Bay Resort most of the time, great food and very reasonably priced, seemed to be cheaper than other places along the beach.

Staff were fabulous, friendly and helpful. Bungalows were quiet and at the end of the beach. We were met by the staff from the ferry to carry our bags as the sea was too rough for the hotels little boat to collect us from the pier. The hotel kept the beach clean in front of the hotel whereas other places didn’t and the beach did look dirty in places. Easy walk to Lazy Beach from the resort which was cleaner and nicer for a days R&R. Food in the restaurant was good with plenty of choice on the menu.
Our private room at Onederz Hostel was very clean, with a comfy bed. A/C and hot water 24hrs a day. The hostel had an amazing atmosphere with lots of entertainment such as a pool table, football table etc and even had a fire show with a live DJ one night. Food/drink was very reasonably priced, with a BBQ on every night till late. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying at this hostel, even if you want a more chilled out time on Koh Rong Sanloem.
We received a lovely welcome from Paulo after a bit of a trek to get here. Sunboo has a great beachfront restaurant with a good menu. It has basic bungalows with everything you need including electricity from solar, it also has a dorm in a separate area. Cori and Nadja are the nicest hosts ever, they genuinely went the extra mile to make you feel at home. Sunset beach is the last piece of paradise left on Koh Rong Sanloem, visit while it's still there.
firstly the location is an oasis....it doesn't get better than this, the perfect beach. beautiful ocean, white sandy beaches. And then you arrive at Kamaku bungalows and Julia and Oscar make you feel like one of the family. The evolving tapas menu and traditional Cambodian food is amazing. The accommodation for dormitories are basic and clean, there are great bungalows there, and of course hammocks to lay in alllllll day. I will be back
Beautiful beach location for a relaxing stay. The ferry stops right in front of the resort. Friendly and helpful staff. If you want a place to chill for a few days, this is it. If you want to explore the island then you probably need to stay somewhere else. The only transport options are water taxi and organised tours. There's a very small mini mart about a 10 minute walk away but it only stocks a very small range of goods.
A very beautiful beach front resort, with a very helpful smiling nice staff.
Tasty food, delicious drinks, good wifi and a stunning view just all what you would want to feel never better.
Big fat thanks to everyone for their kind hospitality and great help with ferry arrangements.
Your smiling faces are carved in our memory.
Sara Resort Koh Rong Sanloem is highly recommended 👌
Wow wow wow! The perfect paradise hotel. Food is delicious! The included breakfast will make you want to stay longer. I’ve never seen staff as nice and competant as them. They organize your trip back, respect the do not disturb sign. Make sure to always smile at you. This hotel offers the best bed on the beach in the quietest part of Saracen Bay! If I could I’d go back tomorrow
Mr Johnny was super friendly and so were the rest of his family and staff. They were helpful with any questions and requests we had. The rooms are simple, exactly how they look in pictures and are described.
It was a 20 min walk from the pier and similar time to lazy beach.
The food at their restaurant was tasty and good prices for the island (I loved the curries).
The beach is amazing, and very clear. there are sun umbrellas and sunbeds. Breakfasts were very yummy. Very good location, just 5 min walk from mini markets. Very comfy bungalow. Amazing staff, very kind and friendly. The hotel provides free round-transfer to the ferry pear. Also, the hotel has a spa& massage - it was amazing!
Beautiful location at a beautiful beach. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a private beach a 25 min walk from Saracen Bay, but the it also offered a free ride with a tractor so that we didn't have to carry the luggage. We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely recommend it!
The place to stay for backpackers visiting Koh Rong Sanloem. The food is the best on the island, one of the owners Steve, and volunteers Uno and Jenny were amazing and great fun. I stayed longer than I originally planned and didn't want to leave.
Everything you want from an island resort. The pool area was very good, the room was nice and the restaurant and staff were very attentive. Good location from the popular beaches (lazy beach & sunset beach). We extended a further 3 nights!
Location was perfect, just at the end of the pier. Also those little hand showers before entering the hotel area/room were really smart! Bungalow area was very beautiful, rooms were spacious and air conditioning worked well.
The atmosphere of the place is amazing. The location, the great staff, the restaurant... Giving just the perfect vibes for that place.
If you are looking for chilling, this is the best hotel in Saracen Beach.
The staff was amazing, breakfast was great and the rooms are just lovely. Overall a very nice place to stay on beautiful Koh Rong Sanloem, we would for sure come back to this resort next time.
Very nice located in the corner of Sunset Beach. Clean and extremely cozy. Very nice and helpful staff! Best food we tried on the beach.
I highly recommend a stay at Robinson Bungalows!!
Nice simple and comfortable wooden bungalows, quite location, clean sandy beach, friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant and bar with good food and variety of drinks, amazing sunset
The hotel is right on the beach and is in a really nice setting! Lots of comfy furniture to chill on! The room was cool and bed was comfy. Great breakfast included too!
