I wouldn't be surprised to see a big hotel chain purchase, tear down & build something modern as the river view is a plus for tourists. The owners were friendly & doing their best.CarrollCanada

Very basic accommodations, but rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. It did the job for a one night stay, we had 3 rooms and were in town for my son’s SUNY college graduation but all NY hotels were booked.

For example we arrived late and she had already turned on the air conditioning so our room was comfortable when we arrived. There was a lovely area behind the hotel too.
