The setting is wonderful although the next morning we discovered that there is a railway line running just below the sweeping grounds. The trains don't appear to run in the night. Our impression of Mount Olive was impeccable. What a gorgeous house! The bedrooms are nicely appointed as though they were in someone's home. If you're tired of conventional hotel rooms, you have to choose Mount Olive. I wish we had had more time to spend there and go on a long hike, for example. The inn is right at the Appalachian Trail.
