Everything. The location was perfect for us. Very walkable area. The room was very large, comfortable bed, huge bathroom with amenities. With only six rooms off the lobby and lounge, it was very homey. The owners are always available for questions about the area, with great recommendations for dining (check out Jia for dim sum!!).
Because of the owners, the guests seem almost curated as a fabulous dinner party/weekend in the country. We met and made friends in the lobby every day, mostly over the breakfasts provided in the lounge area.
If you have any reason to be on Long Island near Port Washington, you could not do any better. And dare I say you might miss out on a great experience you will regret.....

I got a fantastic reception by a personable gentleman who congratulated me for occupying the last room for the night and said it was on the ground floor which was proximate to the swimming pool. This was a leisure visit where I prioritized swimming. My room indeed was on the ground floor, which was disappointing at first, because I like higher floors because there is a greater chance to have a good view. However, the pool was conveniently located by my room. It was a perfect lukewarm temperature, with good depth. The whirlpool was quality in temperature and gusto as well.
Although the only portal toilettry was face soap, it and the non-portal shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were impressive quality. The shower was decent, but could have had a better showerhead to allow more settings for a quality experience. I was disappointed there was no tub. The room layout was aesthetically pleasing, as were the furnishings. I loved the lighting fixtures! The thermostat was easy to control. The black out curtains were a nice touch. I was pleased by the presence of a microwave, Keurig and mini-fridge.
The Best Western Queens Gold Coast is 9.1 mi from LaGuardia Airport. The property has an on-site restaurant and offers a complimentary breakfast.

The bed was quite comfortable, and the location of the hotel was ideal for my visit. I enjoyed the free on-site parking and the fact that breakfast was included. The room itself was clean and had good amount of space. It was nice of the front desk to provide free water bottles as well and have an ice making machine that was fully functional. The bathroom was a little small but clean and nice looking.
