The neighborhood is very safe and the lighting outside was excellent. The house was comfortable, clean, and just the right amount of room. The lighting in this house was great as well as the natural lighting. There are dimmer switches in the rooms for subtle to brighter lighting. The bathrooms have great lighting as well. My daughter especially loved having a tub to take a bath. The location was great as it was close to the store, Arcata, and just minutes away from everywhere we needed to be. Nice patio area and barbecue outside. My 9 year old said she didn’t want to leave after claiming the master bedroom and bathroom. All of my kids enjoyed the layout and amenities. I could not be happier with the accomodations.

We loved the character and charm of an old building! It was super close to all the food and shopping!!! Walking distance was safe. Very charming area.

We were visiting Eureka and the Crescent City area, so McKinleyville was close to each of those towns. The few restaurants were a short drive from the hotel, and there were beaches and ocean viewpoints close to the hotel, also. Even though there is a regional airport very close, we never heard any airplanes from our room.
