The size of the room was nice. The bed was comfortable, but we didn't get much sleep with the kids in the room above us jumping all over the floor, some nights until midnight.

The location was very convenient. Walking distance from the office I was supposed to go to. Hassle free checkin and checkout.

The location was good & was able to get a room looking at the parking area wherein we can view our car.

Alameda is decent it's not as bad as Oakland however they're still criminal activities going on in Alameda this motel is on the outskirts of Alameda literally right under the tunnel from downtown Oakland.
Overall Oakland and Alameda has nothing really to offer waste of vacation better off going to San Francisco.

I booked two rooms for five days at the Extended Stay Hotel in Alameda. One for my mother and sister, the other for me and my brother. Late into the night, my mom started knocking on my door. She was complaining about how her room smelled like it had a chemical leak. As I walked back to her room in the hallway, I noticed gas like vapors slowly coating most of the second floor. This wasn’t just my mom’s nostril sensitivity; the hallway was literally covered in what smelled like a fuel leak from a busted pipe. Me and my family decided to check out in order to keep my mom from literally dying as a result of being exposed to the toxic vapors. I only received a refund for the booking fee of the first room I purchased. I’m still trying to get back the rest of my money. Later that week, my sister researched review of the Extended Stay in Alameda CA. It turns out there have been complaints over the same toxic, nausea inducing smell.

Alameda is beautiful within itself the beautiful trees the nice clean streets that was fear of beachfront luxury you don't have to go anywhere else but beaches are beautiful the sand melts between your toes.
You have the comfort of an island right in your backyard the beach the shopping the food and the convenience of luxury hotel vacation island stay.
And you have the view of San Francisco all the pleasures and comfort of California... it's what I call "breathtaking"
You have the 24 hour Walgreens and the shoreline Outlet as well as Park Street dining and entertainment one of my favorite places "Monkey King Pub" are garlic fries is to die for..lol and whatever you're eating pallet prefer Park Pl has it over 2 mile of eateries. You have the bowling alley, late night bars, and let's not forget "Shop til You Drop"... Alameda is definitely a favorite of mine!

We left a tip and a message for the housekeeper to replace the duvet with blankets and she left the blankets on the bed. She did not speak English. I tried to communicate in my pobrecito Espanol, but I did not accurately convey my message.
The hotel is close to the sea so doing relaxing walks is easily to do so.
The breakfast was small, only toast, orange juice, butter, marmelade, coffee, cereals and sweets to go, yoghurt. However it is very practically to have a breakfast to go. Nice pool. Everything is clean. I received an upgrade to a room with pool view.
The Sushi House round the corner is fine, there are also several shops easily to reach. A Mexican grill, a perfect pizzeria.
Great location and decent property but the floors in the rooms were filthy and a chair broke as soon as we sat on it. Also, we had to fiddle inside the tank of the toilet to get it to flush (every time). The pool was closed which was disappointing with two young children.
The hotel appeared very neat and tidy from the exterior but the room was another story. Pretty disgusting, really. Very old stuff and very dirty. Yuck.
The room was very roomy. The view and location was absolutely perfect. Super close to the event we were going to for daughter's prom on the yacht, which made it super easy to get ready at the hotel. We decided to stay in hotel because we live in East Bay and couldn't fight the Friday Traffic to get to the doc on time after school. Perfect location. The room has nice kitchen, big frig and giant mirror. The view was AMAZING!
Perfect spot for the weary traveler coming from the airport. Short Lyft/Uber drive from Oakland Airport. It's a beautiful property right on the Marina, it's clean, has all the single use things you would need, and super friendly and helpful staff. The area is also amazing, peaceful and quiet.
Beautiful House on a very quiet street in Alameda. Despite being part of Oakland, Alameda looks very tidy and feels absolutely secure. Nice cafes and bistros in close proximity.
The room and garden were fantastic and we would have loved to stay longer.
Highly recommended!
Location was great! Grocery, coffee shops, restaurants close by. I'm guessing the hotel is fairly new as it was so clean!
Didn't have to pay for parking. There was free onsite parking.
My wife has asthma and needed a break from the 100-degree heat in our older uninsulated apartment. Marina Village Inn was 5 minutes away and had A/C. The one-day break helped a lot.
The room size & configuration is perfect for our needs. Room was clean, with bed & pillows being comfortable. Well located near the Oakland Airport, with quick access to freeway.
The house is on the most beautiful street in Alameda! Gorgeous landscaping, and amazing modern and retro decor. We were very comfortable during our stay.
