ibis Amman, hotel in Amman

Ibis Amman offers contemporary accommodations across from Amman Mall, surrounded by the city’s business and diplomatic district.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, but unfortunately, I had a negative experience with the rooms. The absence of windows made the rooms smell musty, and the carpets were noticeably dirty. This took away from an otherwise great location.

Kempinski Hotel Amman, hotel in Amman

This hotel is located in Shmeisani, Amman’s central business district. It features a 24-hour gym, a spa and 3 restaurants. The rooms offer panoramic Amman city views.

I recently stayed for one night at the Kempinski Hotel in Amman and was thoroughly impressed. The lobby’s design creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff’s hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. The room layout was both clean and nicely arranged, contributing to a comfortable stay. The hotel’s location is excellent, surrounded by a variety of restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy the traditional local ambiance. I would like to extend a special thanks to Ms. Dorra, Ms. Bayan, and Mr. Abualwafa at the front desk for their outstanding support and helpfulness. Despite a minor misunderstanding with the payment, the entire staff handled the situation with professionalism and care. Thank you for your excellent communication and service. I look forward to staying at Kempinski Amman again.

FAQs about hotels in Amman

Forward-Thinking Royal Capital

The rapidly expanding Jordanian capital, Amman is an economic powerhouse spread over various hills. Atop one sits the Citadel, containing remains of the Roman Temple of Hercules, a Byzantine church and an 8th-century mosque and palace.

Also here is the Jordan Archaeological Museum, and at the foot of the hill is a Roman theatre, part built in the rock. Modern housing blocks surround it, but the most avant-garde architecture is in the developing Al Abdali business district.

The tallest Amman structures will be the Jordan Gate Towers and will house one of the city’s high-rise hotels. International brands of restaurants and bar can be found alongside more traditional cuisine in Amman, and many eateries are in the large Mecca Mall and Grand City Mall, which also has a cinema.

Nearby is the desert-like vegetation of Al Hussein National Park, and the Royal Automobile Museum which features cars of King Hussein, ruler for over 40 years and after whom are named city sights such as the King Hussein Business Park and mosque. The King Abdullah I Mosque has a beautiful blue dome, while Abu Darweesh Mosque at Amman’s highest point is a striking black-and-white structure.

Booking.com’s Amman accommodation includes 5-star hotels, apartments in the embassy district, and cheap hostels, all within easy reach of Queen Alia Airport.

Close to the Roman amphitheater and the castle in the heart of the capital Amman and the very special thing is the staff and the cleanliness of the building and they have the ability to help organize trips inside Jordan where they have qualified drivers and licensed to take tourists on tours to most tourist places such as Petra, Wadi Rum and northern Jordan and they do exchange for Euros, Dollar with good rate Of course I recommend this beautiful hotel

The location is excelent, very close to busy comercial area and other "must" location in Amman like Hashem restaurant or Habibah Sweets. The best value in the hotel are common areas like the sofa from second floor or the roof top area. We have stayed every evening in roof top discussing, observing the street life, sharing a shisa... Is a good starting point for visiting the citadel of Amman, roman amphitheater and the receptionist will give you all the info you need and a map also.

Excellent experience! The hotel is perfectly located in the city center of Amman. Sightseeing, food and shopping are very close. It’s a pleasant stay in Amman but quite far from downtown yet it’s located in quite neighborhood. The rooms are clean but our room smelled cigarette at the time we checked in. The receptionist also gave my parent’s room an upgrade which is truly appreciated. The chef during breakfast was kind and accommodating. We also had a chance to meet the GM of hotel which is a friend of our driver/guide in Jordan. Relatively good place to stay in Amman.

Excellent stay at this hotel. We had the full, two bedroom/2 bath suite. Spacious and very very comfortable. Staff was good and professional. Wide array of options for breakfast. The hotel also has a gastropub for guests to dine in. It's just 4 mins walk to one of Amman's best restaurants (Fakhreldin) and just a couple of blocks away from the buzzy section of Rainbow Street. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
