Check-in was fast and efficient. While the carpets looked a little dated, the rooms themselves were clean and had everything I needed, including charging ports close by and a comfortable bed.

Room was simple, but with all amenities. Shower head was awesome! Breakfast at the Bistro was delicious and staff were friendly. Dinner party in the steak house was great! Reception staff were pleasant and efficient. I’ll stay there again.

The staff is excellent and very helpful. The newly renovated building is well done, but since the hotel is on the corner of a very busy intersection and near the 401, it can be a bit noisy. They keep the place spotless and the beds are very comfortable. Thankfully, Starbucks is just one block up the street and we were able to have some breakfast there. We also were able to access Walmart on foot for Mother's Day flowers.
Please note that this is a self check-in property and a budgeted accommodation. Guests are required to bring their own personal hygiene items (ie. shampoo, toiletries, towels).

Localization: mall, walmart and skytrain so near !
Burnaby is a distance from Vancouver. I did not realize this when I booked. It seems to be a business area and I was a tourist. Services were spot on from dining options to taxi availability. Every time I called a taxi, it arrived almost immediately and I was cheerfully driven into Vancouver.

An amazing neighborhood of Vancouver, you get the quietness and the green landscapes without the heavy traffic of downtown.
We had access to a number of restaurants mostly asian, and access to many places of interest including Metropolis mall on Kingsway.
It was very nice to go around in Burnaby, its parks and attractions.

With deep learn of train/bus systems and fine weather, the city offers better substitutes for those tall and costly tower hotels in downtown. Sky trains run every five min and ride chokers offered helpful transfer fully rides within 90 min.

Lots of great places to discover, and central park is great.
Lots of great places to discover, and central park is great. Some areas are a little less desirable but overall found it safe and easy to get around. Traffic can be ok-to-horrible fast, so awareness of the busy times is key. Great Sushi at "Sushi Modo".

It was a very nice updated house in an excellent area of Burnaby, walking distance to almost any kind of store you need! It was a very safe, friendly neighbourhood with nice, well taken care of houses. The hosts were excellent, I forgot to copy down the door code when we all went out, & I had to call the host at 11pm when we returned, to get the door code. They were very polite & accommodating!
The place felt like home. Had everything needed and more. The location right on the upcoming downtown of Burnaby next to Metrotown. The unit had very tastefull Arts. Modern furnisher. The host kept in touch and was super helpful and provided an outstanding service. Perfect !! 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
The access to amenities outside of the hotel was great. A large mall next door, and great restaurants are all close by. The staff was friendly, and easy to chat with. The cleaning staff did a good job and making the hotel look and feel clean.
We loved the bedding and the cleanliness of the hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The location was convenient and close to nearby restaurants and everything we wanted to visit! Thank you for a lovely stay !
The lobby-facing side of the hotel was nice and was close to the location we needed to be. Quiet. Nice that it had a separate living room and bedroom, so you have some separation from the sleeping area.
The hotel was nice and cozy. It is in a good convenient area of town. It was quiet, even on the weekends which was a bonus for us. Some front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
The location to the skytrain and Metrotown mall made this a perfect choice for our quick Christmas shopping trip. The breakfast was a great variety with tons of hot food choices.
Referral from hotel staff re local restaurant & travel options. Recommended a particular experience (Capilano Suspension Bridge) that turned out to be an excellent excursion.
I did not try the breakfast in hotel because the location is so great that I can walk to find the restaurant I like and fast food in crystal mall food court.
Great hotel for a good price, has everything we needed - comfy beds, quiet rooms, good breakfast, perfectly hot shower, Starbucks on premises, close to SFU
