I'm a bit biased as my mother and grandmother are from Paderborn but I had not been there for quite a few years, so I wanted to see the Christmas market. That was amazing beautiful lighting great shopping loads of things to eat. You need to visit the Dome and other churches around the area as they are lovely, nothing like them in the UK. I will definately be going back there to see Libori in the summer. Lots of places to eat, lovely walk around the Paderquelle and the gardensAAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Paderborn has quite a variety of ethnic restaurants. The Indian cuisine is above average. There are plenty of bus stops with frequent stops. The buildings and architecture are beautiful. The parks are fairly clean with few bums and beggars. Seems like a nice family city. The public pools are clean and friendly. Always happy to visit this lovely city which is filled with history, plenty to do and see and the cathedral is spectacular. Excellent range of restaurants and shopping and great walks along the river Pader.

The room is always great, a much higher standard than you´d expect for this price category. I always stay here when I am near Paderborn, especially when travelling through Germany, because the standard is really good and everything is convenient -parking, check-in, (it´s a machine in the lobby) nice bathroom with a great shower. Good heating that works quickly, if you arrive late and it´s cold.

We were positively surprised. Big room, all ammenities like coffee, tea, soaps, hairdryer. Very clean. You can open the windows which is a big plus for me. And very clean. Breakfast only €9 per person, which put Ibis and others to shame. Paderborn is a nice enough place, but I'm afraid the RAF made a huge mess of it in 1945 and the rebuilding effort can only be described as a partial success. Good range of restaurants though and nice, like nearly all modern German towns

Restaurant is pleasant and tables are not packed tight. Lots of choice for breakfast and our evening meal. Room was ample in size as was the bathroom. Bed was comfortable but pillows were a little too soft. View from our window was lovely, could see for miles. Very handy having a carpark to....spaces are tight so take care
