Comfort Inn Warrnambool International, hotel in Warrnambool

Located on the Shipwrecked Coast of Victoria in Australia, Comfort Inn Warrnambool International is just 4 minutes’ drive from Warrnambool Train Station.

Friendly welcome at the reception and a nice room with enough space for our luggage. Parking is of course not an issue, right in front of the room. The location is great, 2 blocks south there's a lot of restaurants, though they were quite busy. But we got a table eventually. Slept quite well. No breakfast option (or we missed it), but there are bakeries in town, so no problem for us.

we had a very good time we spent one week the highlight was a night light show that was fantastic i was told about this by one of the members of my community house that i belong to and i am glad that we did not miss it. We couldn't believe our eyes when a screen came down into the water and a face of an aboriginal man spoke to us what a joy. And of course the great ocean road with all its sites.

I stayed in Warrnambool for five days for radiation at Warrambool Cancer Centre, accommodated mostly at Rotary House, The Cancer Centre and Rotary House are beautiful facilities for country people in need of specialist medical services that require overnight stays. The Peter's Project Lounge at the cancer centre is a great place to rest, read, watch tv and talk to volunteers. However, five days was long enough as I was eager to get home and back to work. It would have been easier if I'd had access to a car during this time. I would have gone on afternoon trips to Portland, Port Fairy, Timboon Ice Cream, Koroit Bakery etc. I enjoyed Turmeric Latte and Gypsy Salad at Day Kitty (an organic cafe) and went to the beach once. I enjoyed working at Warrnambool Library, on the second floor with access to computers and a view of the ocean.

Love the ocean location and all the walking possibilities.

Love the ocean location and all the walking possibilities. There are also good places to eat in and around the town. The town is big enough to have all the necessary shops and facilities but small enough to get around easily. Lots of beautiful tree-lined streets for shade make walking a pleasure.

Warrnambool is a beautiful place to visit.

Warrnambool is a beautiful place to visit. The Deep Blue Springs is a great place to visit. Reasonable, relaxing place and enjoy all the pools. A twenty-minute drive to Pt Fairy and have a look around the marina and there was a great coffee shop for coffee. Nice shops in the main street of Warrnambool. All the dining places we went to eat were very good and we had not trouble with the food. Some were: Myrtle kitchen Images Restaurant Cafe and Cocktail Bar Clovelly Restaurant Breakfast at Pavillon Cafe & Bar

Warrnambool is very bike friendly and one end of the port Fairy to Warrnambool Rail Trail. It has lots of great restaurants and breakfast at The Pavilion was delicious. Our accommodation at Ellenora was first class—spotlessly clean, comfortable and well situated. Took our bikes on the train from Melbourne and enjoyed a car-free holiday.

The location to the beach was excellent. Wonderful walking tracks along the beach for early morning walks!! A walk you to the main streets in Warrnambool is about 20-25mins. The parks along the way at Lake Pertobe are beautifully maintained and very family-friendly. Lots of activities for families. The view from the room was ok but did expect it to be better as the Lady Bay resort obstructed the view somewhat. The room was big enough and very clean. The Hot Springs was wonderful and well worth the time spent.

This stay exceeded out expectations. It was far larger, cleaner and more comfortable than what we would expect for the price. I will definitely book again when we are next in Warrnambool for work. Andrea was accommodating and friendly to deal with. We didn't end up needing to bring our dog but the fact that we could was the reason I picked this location. Many dog-friendly stays can be slightly scruffy, but this was perfect.

My train was delayed (horribly, but save that for a review of the V Line train system!) and I was set to arrive late at the hotel. Their check in ends at 8pm. I emailed them from my stationary train - they replied quickly, and reassured me that I would have access to my room. When I entered my room, the heater was on and it was very inviting. The hotel is very close to the centre of town and to public transport.

As a family of 6, we need 2 rooms, which we requested be close together. We were delighted to find we had been placed next door to one another. The hotel was very comfortable and clean, with great bathrooms and comfy beds. The rooms were basic but had all we needed. It was also located in a nice part of Warrnambool, right across the road from Flagstaff Hill.

The Blue Whale is basically a motel on the major highway through Warrnambool. We had a double room, which was adequate for our needs for one night, but nothing special. It was clean and we had a small kitchenette to prepare breakfast in the morning. The rooms have been renovated to be as nice as possible, but it is still a motel room.

Close to town and facilities. Very clean and tidy. Large rooms, all with ensuites. Great views from backyard. There is a bbq, table & chairs in the backyard which was great for sitting outside & enjoying the outdoors. Also inside the house they had very informative & interesting photos of the history of Warrnambool.

The home accommodated us very well over the Christmas Period. We had a lovely break away. The weather wasn't great so we spent a bit of time inside, instead of exploring Warrnambool like we had hoped. However the house provided us plenty of comforts to make our inside stay a relaxing one.

Paul - the owner of the property is an exceptional, kind and gentle person. The Beach House had spacious rooms meeting all of our needs. So, close to the beach and Hopkins River for fishing. I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Warrnambool.
