Vernazza was our favourite of the cinque Terre towns The square at the sea front felt like the focus of the town and was surrounded by places to eat and Drink. Stunning. View wherever you looked Better staying there than just visiting as the tourist numbers were lower early in day and later in evening

Vernazza is probably the easiest of the Cinque Terra...
Vernazza is probably the easiest of the Cinque Terra villages to get around. This lodging is up a cliff - 111 steps! But the view! Monterosso has the best beach. Corniglia is charming but amazing amount of stairs up from the train station. Riomaggiorie is the largest and plenty of amenities. Steep hills! All in all- be prepared to hike and climb in any of the villages. Worth it !

Vernazza was overcrowded.
Vernazza was overcrowded. The trains that accessed the town were horribly overpacked and at times the city streets were impassible. I hope that the tour groups that flooded the trains and streets will be limited in number in the future otherwise the quality of life in this beautiful village will be diminished,

Vernazza was a beautiful unique place to visit--so glad we were able to experience it! The hike from Vernazza to Monterosso was somewhat difficult because of so many steps but very worth it for the views. We would have liked to have taken the ferry back to Vernazza from Monterosso but it had not started running for the season yet, so we had to settle for the train. It's nice to have options!

We loved everything about Vernazza! It is way more beautiful than I had pictured! It almost doesn't look real! The restaurants, food, drinks and dessert were all delicious! We hiked above the town and had breathtaking views! We were there in March so we had some rain upon arrival in the morning, but the sun came out on our hike and it was beautiful! We walked every where from the train station~ it was so easy to get around! The shops are darling and we bought several items! Incredible value, great service, perfect sized room with great facilities like a coffee machine and modern bathroom. It’s the perfect place to stay to access the Cinque Terre through hiking or train, and you get to experience the town after the crowds have left. Cannot wait to stay here again!! Grazie mille!

It was very clean and the staff (Lorenzo) was so helpful and kind. Another gentleman helped us carry our bags downstairs when we were checking out. Very cozy and quiet. Vernazza was my favorite. There was a large patio area where you can sit and watch the ferries and local fishing boats and have a glass of your favourite beverage. The bed was super comfortable. Our host Gian, met us at the Vernazza train station and helped us with our luggage and showed us the way to the accommodation.

Staff was helpful at check in, even helped us carry our luggage the 100 steps to our room. The room was clean, had a balcony looking out to the sea, and perfectly located. A restaurant and cafe was located on the street level. The challenge is the steps. They’re steep, stone and circuit some spots. No elevator.we loved the location!
