Nice little property on the hill overlooking Vernazza. The room was on the small side but well-appointed with a very nice bathroom. Several outdoor seating areas to take in the nature and view. It's a bit of a climb from the train station, but that's the case for just about any place in town with a view and the hosts here meet you to help with your luggage at check-in. We loved our time in Vernazza!

The location was incredible. Just a few steps to the waterfront. The Host stocked the refrigerator with food and wine and homemade cake. She went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Vernazza is probably the easiest of the Cinque Terra...
Vernazza is probably the easiest of the Cinque Terra villages to get around. This lodging is up a cliff - 111 steps! But the view! Monterosso has the best beach. Corniglia is charming but amazing amount of stairs up from the train station. Riomaggiorie is the largest and plenty of amenities. Steep hills! Vernazza was overcrowded.
Vernazza was overcrowded. The trains that accessed the town were horribly overpacked and at times the city streets were impassible. I hope that the tour groups that flooded the trains and streets will be limited in number in the future otherwise the quality of life in this beautiful village will be diminished,

Vernazza was a beautiful unique place to visit--so glad we were able to experience it! The hike from Vernazza to Monterosso was somewhat difficult because of so many steps but very worth it for the views. We would have liked to have taken the ferry back to Vernazza from Monterosso but it had not started running for the season yet, so we had to settle for the train. We loved everything about Vernazza! It is way more beautiful than I had pictured! It almost doesn't look real! The restaurants, food, drinks and dessert were all delicious! We hiked above the town and had breathtaking views! We were there in March so we had some rain upon arrival in the morning, but the sun came out on our hike and it was beautiful! We walked every where from the train station~ it was so easy to get around! The shops are darling and we bought several items! We loved Vernazza.
We loved Vernazza. We enjoyed the views, the little harbor was beautiful. The Tower views over looking the ocean and village was fantastic! Our experiences in several restaurants were excellent. Plenty of shops for Souvenirs. Vernazza was also a great home base to visit the other villages of Cinque Terre. Our favorite Village.Dan

The view from the window is amazing. It's very close to the train station and steps away from trekking trail. Our bed was really comfortable and we slept well. Bathroom had great towels and was spacious. Francesca and her husband are wonderful hosts. I definitely recommend this place and Vernazza - it's the best of all 5 Cinque Terre towns and it is worth to stay there instead of just visiting.

The view looks down into the square with the sea as a backdrop. It’s perfect. I also loved the light chatter from below restaurants - gives you a real Italian feel. The room itself is very modern: decor, entry/locks and bath/shower. Wifi worked exceptionally well - I worked remotely out of this location and had zero reception issues - lots of zoom/Skype and downloading of files.

Our hosts were extremely helpful and made sure we were well prepared for the visit and made us aware that Vernazza was a completely pedestrian village. The room was top notch and the location could not be beat. We visited right before the tourist season started which we found to be an advantage as our hiking and shopping was done without crowds. We had great weather and the convenience of the train allowed us to move up and down the coast with ease.

It an ideal location fir the lovely village. Our favourite now of the Cinque Terre. There are steps to reach the apartment, so not ideal for baby or anyone with hip/knee issues, and the bed is very low as it is sunk into floor. It could sleep 5 if it was 2 adults and 3 small children (4-10yrs) We highly recommend both this village and this apartment.CoralieNew Zealand

Only a short stroll from the train. Marcella gave easy directions to locate the apartment. The apartment was lovely and clean, spacious with a lounge, mini kitchen and verandah to watch the activities on the waters edge. This place is a golden find. It made our trip to Cinque Terre so much better and authentic.
