It was nice in Oia but we were there only 2 nights. The sunsets were nice, but the weather itself was on the cool side. Very windy on our day of arrival, downright cold actually we didn't come prepared for that weather. We went middle of May so I would suggest making sure you are prepared for any type of weather. We did have a nice beach day so that was nice. It's a pretty place with nice sunsets but not enough blue top roofs, which I would have liked to seen more of.

Kima oia is a very nice place to stay.
Kima oia is a very nice place to stay. The place itself is really nice, the junior sweet we stayed in was amazing with excellent views and a private hot tub. We thought this place has the sunset views but it didnt. To view the sunset you have to go to a different place. Also there is no halal options near the hotel so you have to eat other food pizza and pasta is available. To get halal food you have to go to a place called fira which is about a 25min drive in taxi which costs 40 euros each way. Taxis are very very expensive. There is a small mini shop near the hotel to get all your snacks and drinks from. The breakfast was really good and room service pizza was very nice. The only downside is you have to be physically strong to get to the hotel as theres alot of rocky stairs to climb to get to the hotel and then back onto the main road. Theres one main strip in oia where everyone hangs out and eats which is on the main road from the hotel which is convenient. The staff were also super friendly. The bell boy takes ur luggage down and up the stairs and is really nice. Adrianna also helps you with your stay and makes sure you have a good time snd we booked some things to do with her.

Great location, beautiful sights. Be prepared to walk and use the stairs a lot. Can cover it all in 2-3 days, so can make it a long weekend. Once tourist season starts, it'll get very crowded though - so May or September/Oct ideal.

We traveled to Oia in the end of April, which is just the beginning of their high season. The weather was cool, a bit breezy, and always nice and warm in the afternoons. The traffic was slowed at times because the streets are narrow, and there is not a lot of parking. Because of the steep cliff side dwellings, there was a lot of walking up/down steps which were uneven. Someone with physical difficulty would not easily navigate the steps. All the shop and restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The view from anywhere in Oia is magnificent. Oia is a place on earth that is a “must see,” and now we can cross it off our bucket list.TedUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

Breakfast was fab with part of it being fix and part à la carte delivered to the suite every morning at a time you decide on. The suite was stunning and very clean. The cave pool was relaxing and the view……. Breathtaking! I could go on for ages but I truly recommend this hotel for a couple of nights it is fabulously unique and special. Worth every penny and perfectly situated.

We also booked a yacht through Lia to watch the sunset, very convenient and worry-free, the car to the airport was also arranged by Lia, very thoughtful and punctual, the owner's restaurant is also very good!!!! Really liked that is wasn’t as busy, there are some lovely restaurants really close by as well. The owner of this hotel is so nice, she arranged all our transfers and was waiting for us at the bus stop. The rooms themselves are done out to a very high standard, we loved staying in a little cave house. We had our own private terrace and hot tub that made it feel extra special. Will definitely return
