Location was excellent, right in the heart of the old town of Ubeda, next to one of the main streets. Room was very large and comfortable. Historic hotel. Staff were extremely pleasant and accomodating. If there was an issue, it was resolved immediately (how to work the heating...)

Beautiful hotel, spacious room with sitting area, friendly staff, walkable to many restaurants.
I accidentally left my refrigerated medication in our room when we left. The front desk called me within 10 minutes of our departure to let me know. I am so grateful for this.

A lovely place! There were few tourists so it was possible to really enjoy the sites. Attractions are very close to each other and the most important ones can be covered in a day or two. It is highly recommended to make the 15 minute trip to Baeza, which is smaller but utterly charming. My two favourites: The Sinagoga del Agua (a must) in Úbeda, and walking the surroundings of the Cathedral and the Walls in Baeza. The journey there is also beautiful, as Jaen province is delightful.

Ubeda is a beautiful little city with loads of great things to see, the walls, churches, town hall etc. and local shops/galleries. There is also a huge range of restaurants and eateries (a great ice-cream shop) the views of the surrounding area are stunning. I would recommend staying within the old town walls, a little bit more expensive but worth it for being near to everything by foot.

Doesn't have the tourism magnetism like Córdoba or Granada, but especially if you have to cross nearby, it is worth to spend a day in Ubeda, Baeza and Jaen area.
Represents a different architecture, different landscapes, a more pristine way of living, with less tourism friction

Ubeda is a beautiful city and so is its sister, Baeza.
Ubeda is a beautiful city and so is its sister, Baeza. Both must be seen. You can ask for a tour guide (different spots in the center town) or do a tour on your own but you may miss out on some important information about the historic structures, the "patrimoine" the heritage buildings. One quick point: although our guide was very savvy and knowledgeable, I found the two and a half hours of the tour a bit heavy in Ubeda: too much info and not enough time to satisfy my curiosity when visiting. On the other hand, the Baeza tour guide was also savvy and knowledgeable but he gave us time to appreciate the historic buildings. To eat in the South of Spain is like saying "where is the fridge in this house" - there are eatery places, from cafés, bars, restaurants for every liking and budget. One does not need a car to get around Ubeda. There are always things to do anywhere you look.

The whole of Ubeda is listed as World Heritage for a reason.
The whole of Ubeda is listed as World Heritage for a reason. They are also working actively to bring more sites to the fore. You can get the best selection of teas, needed in the cold days; best at Bar Las Flores, tiny with good prices. Can't list all the sites, there are too many. We did the free walking tour, in Spanish only, starting at the office in Calle Real 13 - excellent guide with very clear diction.

An incredibly interesting place to visit.
An incredibly interesting place to visit. There are historic buildings on every corner of the old town. It is a joy just to wander about looking.
As it is not easy for me to walk far it was a delight to take the tourist train, ensuring that we missed nothing. I was pleased to see many of the beautiful old buildings preserved tastefully as hotels. There were plenty of restaurants and bars around and free tapas too, as it is in Jaén
The house is in an excellent location within a short walk to all the sights of Ubeda. It is easy to drive to being on the edge of the old town. We parked our car on the road very close to the house, or within a 5 minute walk. You can unload luggage just outside the house.
The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to queries.
The house is very clean and excellent value for money. It is old and full of character but with modern appliances.
It is on 3 floors so unsuitable for anyone who finds stairs difficult.
The staff were lovely.
The hotel is tired.
The stay would have been more pleasant if I hadn't discovered on my way to the hotel that Booking.com were advertising a much lesser rate per night for the same package as they had charged me. It would also have been better if I hadn't been cut off when I rang and queried this and then discovered that particular ad had disappeared.
It would also have been better if I wasn't experiencing so much run around trying to resolve this. Not impressed with Booking.com.
Great location close to everything, cafe/restaurant in front the apartment great for breakfast. The carry out pizza place has delicious pizzas for great prices. Good free parking close to apartment. The apartment is super comfortable and has all the needed amenities. Great for a family! Gabriel the host was very helpful and gave us great recomendations! He takes care of everything in a timely manner; he even warmed up the apartment before our arrival as it was cold in Ubeda.
Couldnt be in a more perfect spot - just round the corner from the Parador, 50 yards to the main square in the old town. Comfortable, modern & clean. Hosts only a short message away and very amenable. The old town is amazing - such a wealth of history. We also arrived on a fiesta night, so fireworks, musicians and folk in full battle reenactment costume made Saturday a special atmosphere
Location could not have been better - and free public parking 30 metres away if you were lucky enough to get a place. Calm, quiet and space to sit on roof terrace or patio/courtyard for those moments of respite when you’d explored Ubeda because the hotel is close enough to nip back to for a break. Excellent, helpful staff who gave great advice about what to see and where to eat.
This is an amazing hotel, situated in the centre of Ubeda old town. The Spa is great and at reasonable prices. Staff was very kind, especially at the reception and at the breakfast. The room was very luxurious and the bed super comfortable. Roof pool was also nice, one could swim and enjoy a nice view of Ubeda.
Very comfortable property set in an excellent location with a lovely host! We were 2 couples and stayed for 2 nights. The place is spacious with a private patio and well equipped. Almost next door to the most beautiful part of Ubeda. Excellent tips from the host. Highly recommended!
The Parador is located in the heart of the old town and ideal for sightseeing. The building itself forms part of the towns rich heritage. It has a good restaurant showcasing some of the areas best produce - dishes and service were excellent and the prices very reasonable.
Beautiful hotel, spacious room with sitting area, friendly staff, walkable to many restaurants.
I accidentally left my refrigerated medication in our room when we left. The front desk called me within 10 minutes of our departure to let me know. I am so grateful for this.
The hotel's location is really central to the historic old town. Andrea was super helpful contacting me regarding arrival and parking etc. The room was super clean and mine had a juliet balcony overlooking the street, which was charming. Definitely recommend!
Beautiful place, great location, very good and kind service, the staff was very helpful.
It is a small city and from the parador you can get almost every where just walking.
The room was big, confortable and clean.
And very important have air conditioning.
A charming historical hotel. The beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean, tasteful and massive. The prices are also very good. Ubeda is well worth a visit and we would not hesitate staying here again
Close to old town. Free public parking close to the hotel. It is situated in an old historic building with a lovely interior court yard. Very good value for the location. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The location was amazing, very close to the historical parts of Ubeda. I thought the apartment was so charmingly decorated, very comfortable and spacious. I wish I could have stayed longer!
This is one of the best hotels we ever had been in a while. The location, the room, staff, breakfast and restaurant are unbelievable. Excellent, top of the list for us. Highly recommended!
The location to all the sights and the free parking was priceless.
The breakfast was generous and very good.
The proprietor was delightful and very helpful in directing us to the sights.
Charming and authentic. In the middle of genuine Espana, - tourism seems to be a word from a Russian dictonary. Ubeda and the hotel are both of a different dimension.
