The property was nice, clean , good size clean bathroom, it was a rescue stay for us as we were traveling to Seville and we couldn’t find a place nearby Seville at the time. There is a nearby public parking for ten euros a day, the receptionist (Francis) was very nice gentleman and welcoming, We liked it and would probably stay in it if we visit Jerez again.

The room was as described, very spacious, especially for a Spanish city hotel, bed was comfy and the bathroom was large with both a bath and separate shower. Couldn't fault the room at all. The location of the hotel cannot be surpassed. It is just off the square but only steps away. Although the hotel doesn't have its own car park there is a 24 hour public car park (very safe and secure) adjacent to the front door of the hotel.

A town synonymous with sherry, dancing horses and motorsports, Jerez de la Frontera also features the typical Andalusian traits of gorgeous sunshine, elaborately painted tiles and rhythmic flamenco.
The latter was reportedly born here and the town is home to the Andalusian Centre of Flamenco. Nearby is the ‘bodega’ of Harveys, one sherry brand offering wine cellar tours. Others include Pedro Domecq – the oldest – and Tio Pepe, whose fame stretches worldwide.
Horse statues are found all over town and a park houses the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, a dressage riding school offering public performances. The annual Jerez Horse Fair is an even more spectacular event that takes over the whole town. The town also teems with bike enthusiasts during the Spanish Moto GP, on a circuit which also hosts pre-season F1 testing.
Other sights include Jerez Alcázar, an 11th-century Moorish castle, and the multi-faceted cathedral which is beautifully lit at night. Plaza del Mercado has the archaeology museum and part of the city walls surround the historic centre. I really enjoyed seeing the Spanish Riding School and chose the week we went because of the Feria of the Horse. The sherry tour we did was good but we stood throughout the whole time which was tiring. We found great places to eat and generally liked the vibe of the place. We generally walked around Jerez but occasionally took a cab.

A very quick weekend away. Jerez has lots of gems to offer.
A very quick weekend away. Jerez has lots of gems to offer. Recommend going to the Real Academia for the museums about horses and everything around it, as well as the horse shows themselves. Several interesting churches as well as the Alcazar to visit. Filled with great places to eat and fantastic choice of flamenco bars (we particularly liked Flamenkana, flamenco african mix)! Great for a long weekend, and to keep coming back to explore. We were there for the Sherry Half Marathon which was also great fun, the townspeople were really welcoming and supportive. Gets crazy busy (and expensive) at the Feria del Caballo and Moto GP dates, so be aware of this when booking. Most things in town centre accessible on foot, but usually street parking or faciliites available when need to use the car. Has shopping centres, IKEA and a go kart track just outside the town! Don't think twice, go and visit!

Jerez de la Frontera ("Jerez" here after) is a GEM!
Jerez de la Frontera ("Jerez" here after) is a GEM! Go there if you can.
It is the biggest town in the Jerez (strong wine) triangle. This is the birthplace for the famous wine some people call Sherry. I prefer to call it Jerez because the "Sherry" is connected to something I would call a colonialistic robbery when Francis Drake stole 3 000 barrels in Cádiz 1587.
So when you want to discover this exciting wine please ask for a "Fino", a "Manzanilla", an "Amontillado", an "Oloroso" or some of a few other types of this strong wine. Avoid of course Sandeman's or Harvey's. Those products are just not the same. Go local instead, it is excellent!
Jerez is also the main city and the birthplace for Flamenco. In fact the whole city IS Flamenco. Wait until late evening and get into one of the many Tabancos. You will find many of them in the historic city center.
You will experience Flamenco in organized shows and/or as more spontaneous performances. Then change place to another Tabanco and another and the later the night becomes you will hear more and more of the typical "clap clap" and see the dancing throughout the city.
Spend a week in Jerez, spend two, spend four. Nothing will be more Spanish and Andalusian than this.
Advise: If you can you should avoid the summer months. The summer here can be very hot and it is also overcrowded. In wintertime the temperature rarely sinks below 10 degrees at night and the days are very often nice and bright.

We loved it.
We loved it. The centre of Jerez was full of bars, restaurants and cafes. Our stay was three nights. We packed in a day trip to Cadiz by train, visited Tio Pepe for tour and tasting and Andalusian horse show. All done on foot. We stayed Sun to Weds and not all the restaurants we had been recommended were open however, Las Banderillas was fantastic and highly recommended. I would definitely return at this time of year.

We absolutely loved Jerez de la Frontera.
We absolutely loved Jerez de la Frontera. Although it's not 'on the map' like Cordoba or Sevilla, it's a really attractive and sizeable town with plenty to see and do. We visited Bodegas Tradicion and would highly recommend. We also went to the Andalusian Equestrian school which was good and the Alcazar was really great. We were lucky enough to be there during Santa Semana so it was interesting to see the Catholic traditions.

Sherry Park Hotel is a lovely hotel and perfect if you wanted to stay a bit out of the centre of Jerez. It’s a 15 minute walk into the centre and all on the flat. And it is very close to the equestrian centre.
the breakfast was excellent and the staff really helpful. The pool and gardens were a really place to relax after a good days walking round the city.
The rooms were really well equipped and comfortable and clean.
Also the hotel has free parking which is a huge bonus in Spain. Would definitely stay here again.
It was right on the door step of the city centre and a close walk from jerez train station. It was good value for money and was accesible to everyone- stairs and lift fully functioning. I have come to jerez to work and stayed in the hotel until I moved into my rental apartment- the staff, one lady in particular was so kind and helped me to book an appointment for empadronamiento over the phone. Everyone was friendly and nice. Highly rate this hotel and would stay again, no issues!!
EL COLOSO JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA:) I like the idea of the old arquitectura, 200
Years old , we got a little apartment super comfortably, clean nice size everything! Bathroom was great 😊, Angel was pleasant and the stuff, walking distance to everything you are in the history district, !!! The Room is cold , Angel say even in the hot hot summer cause the thickness of the walls :))),, we walk to the train , with a lot luggage:) 10 minutes,,
What the Nuevo Hotel lacks in elegance and opulence, it makes up for with character and charm. For accessing many of Jerez’s restaurants and bars, it quite simply couldn’t be better located.
Those who need pampering should look elsewhere, but those who want to immerse themselves in the authenticity of this beautiful city should take advantage of this hotel’s exceptional value.
The hotel and facilities were very good.
The rooms are a generous size and well equipped.
Located in the centre of Jerez. Very close to the Alcazar, Cathedral and the Gonzalos Byass visitors centre.
It was my 3rd visit to Jerez and for quality of hotel and location it is without doubt the best combination. Car parking is a public car park 25 metres from the front door.
The first is the location. A stone's throw from all attractions. Cathedral right outside the window.
The second is the concept. The hotel and the winery are one. The hotel offers an excursion to the winery. The third is the staff. Very friendly and willing to accommodate guests' requests. And one of the best is the rooftop patio overlooking the historic city.
Very different from your normal hotel, we felt like we were guest in someone's home. We had a huge patio off our room,
breakfast great, coffee was available any time of the day. We took a paella cooking class at the hotel along with a great tasting of three different sherry's. Short 10 min. walk to downtown.
Clean, comfortable room with lovely decor. Very pleasant & helpful staff.
Good access for disabled & good facilities in the room. Not too far to walk to the Old City and the best sites to visit. Good parking at the back. Cafeteria available in the hotel & breakfast good ( two types - full cooked & small).
Lovely hotel close to the centre of Jerez. Comfy large bed and nice bathroom and shower. Staff incredibly helpful - I really liked the WhatsApp messages with parking information and recommendations. Good breakfast with plenty of variety. We intend on returning for a further visit to Jerez.
Most hospitable hosts I have found in five weeks travel in Spain. Washing machine, stove, and refrigerator. The loft was not terribly spacious, but there was a comfortable sofa bed to sleep on.
Beautiful location, room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Wish we would have stayed longer in Jerez de la Frontera and at this beautiful hotel. Breakfast in the courtyard was wonderful.
Beautiful apartment, with a lovely mozarabic style. Hotel was a short walk from the city centre and other major attractions, like the Cathedral or Bodegas González Byass.
Everything: the best service, building, decoration, common areas, rooms, restaurant and its excellent food. One of the best hotels in Spain, in fact anywhere.
