Callao 8 is located on the top floor therefore has the most outstanding views and fabulous terrace. Check in was brilliant due to the welcome from Matia and her husband, always there if needed. Worth their weight in gold and hopefully appreciated by the owners.

Two things really annoyed us.
Two things really annoyed us. The property was described as having one twin room and one double. It didn’t! Just two rooms with single beds. Also one of the bedroom doors was so badly hung it couldn’t be closed without a huge effort and and a great deal of noise. I also think if you provide a coffee maker then you should also provide the pods to go in it.

I love Arrieta , been before and will go again . Small village , no hotels but good restaurants . If you want a short drive will take you to costa teguise and beyond . 10 minutes from Haria another village , inland with Saturday market , Supermarkets have sprung up around arricife , perfect for self catering . Really enjoyed our short stay.
Really enjoyed our short stay. A lovely fishing type village, with all the amenities we needed, not for those looking for an all inc. holiday. And you can surf, when the tides are right, from the jetty to the beach! Peaceful and quiet, lots of locals and Spanish being spoken in the main- no problems with language at the restaurants- I preferred La Casa de La Playa on the beach to eat at. I did not enjoy and would not recommend Restaurante los Pescaditos- they were arrogant and conceited. Some campers parked by the beach made it feel more relaxed. I'd go again, as I liked the peace and quiet, Though it may be busier in summer.

Arrieta is one of the most beautiful village and very nice people..I wish to go back and stay for longer days and eat every day in those restaurants was amazing and there is one coffee bar ..amazing sweets, coffe sendvich, very nice people. If you like less tourists and feel the Lanzarote atmosphere is highly recommended.IIldikoSlovakia - 10Scored 10
Arrieta is an excellent village in the north of the Island.
Arrieta is an excellent village in the north of the Island. It has numerous excellent restaurants, it is generally very clean - although we did notice an increase in the amount of dog poo on the pavements. There are also 1 or 2 interesting clothes and holiday memorabilia shops. The beach is very clean and has bars and restaurants more or less on the beach.

A small pretty seaside village with everything for a comfortable stay - plenty of bars and restaurants serving local food and specialising in fish and the traditional 'Canary' wrinkled potatoes and trio of flavoured sauces. Good base to explore the area if you have a car - the Jameos museum (underground cavern and lake with auditorium) is recommended and the volcano visit also fascinating. Walks along the sea front and plenty of 'sea pools' with steps going in to the water to bathe. The Mojitos in the VW Camper bar are best avoided - way too sugary!TriptasticUnited Kingdom

The house is lovely and spacious with the most amazing outside area, waking up to the sound of the ocean is very special! The saltwater pool and the comfortable deck chairs made for a very relaxing trip with a stunning view of the ocean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook but there are options to eat out in Arrieta or Punta Mujeres if you wish. There are natural pool about a 5/10 minute walk from the villa and arrieta beach is also 10/15 minutes walk away. Would highly recommend!AoifeIreland

The apartment was wonderful from the the most welcoming host bringing us little gifts on arrival, it truly is a home from home everything you could possibly require for a relaxing stay. The apartment is so close to the beach and a short walk to the Supermarket. We cannot wait to return to this stunning area of Lanzarote and hopefully to this beautiful apartment. Thank you so much for making our holiday so special.

This apartment was lovely, with a big terrace and well-equipped. The views out to sea were beautiful and it is an easy walk into Arrieta. Some travellers mention the fish restaurant; I guess that is all personal, it was not a problem for me and the noise is mainly low level buzz of people chatting (no loud music) and a little bit of noise in the morning when cleaning or setting up (again not a big deal).

Easy parking on the street outside the apartment or on ground a few steps away (note - this is not the main road into/out of the village but a smaller one-way street parallel to it). Very friendly & helpful hosts.
