Imerovigli has the best view of the Santorini volcano because it is the highest point of Santorini. It is much quieter compared with OIa and Fira. Oia is gorgeous only in the early morning. After noon time until evening, Oia is literally crazily packed with tourists. Imerovigli never feels too crowded. About 25 minutes drive from the port. Close to Fira and not a crowded spot like Fira. Other places like Oia are easily reachable by car. A good choice if you want to avoid the bustle. You do need a car if you stay in Imerovigli. Not much you can do by walking.

it was the most charming place centered in a perfect location. It was quiet but with access to wonderful resturaunts, those above the resorts on the streets like Four Seasons or The Avacado were amazing. The workers at Sophia were knowlegeable and so helpful. The community buses are clean, beautiful and convenient and the jile to Oia wS stunning. the walk to Fira the capital of santorini was also lovely. The wineries the shopping the ruins...it has it all. I cant say enough about the people at sophia and how fabulous the breakfasts are. We were always pleasantly surprised by the grace of the people and the quality of the resort. It is important to be iphysically able and somewhat in shape to manage the stairs and access the room. This os what makes the place so magical and so calm.

If it’s possible, I’ll give them a million star rating!!! It’s customer delight at its finest. Their customer service is top notch. Few days before my trip, there were some changes about their facilities. I was contacted and informed in advance. They offered to upgrade my suite to another hotel, which they did. Their patience , prompt response, professionalism and customer service far exceeded my expectations. I will highly recommend them and won't hesitate to book this suite for my next holidays in Santorini. Beyond the obvious -- views from Oia, sunset over the sea -- we urge everyone to visit the amazing archeological site at Akrotiri and the Museum of Prehistoric Thera (in Fira) which houses many of the objects found at the Akrotiri site. If history and archeology interest you at all, these sites are not to be missed! (Ignore travel guide indications that Akrotiri is only open in the summer -- that is not true!) Also, visit the lovely little town of Pyrgos if you have time. We were able to travel in the off-season which meant that many stores and restaurants across the island were closed but it also meant that we totally avoided the infamous crowds.

Vasilis was very helpful and gived us some advice what places are worth to see and how to catch every place, staff was amazing. Breakfasts were really ok, maybe not in like 5 stars hotel, but ok. The terrace and views are jaw dropping. The extra bonus is how private and peaceful it was compared to many other terraces in Santorini. Imerovigli was also our favourite village, having walked everywhere. Just as beautiful as Oia but without the crowds. Loads of lovely restaurants within short walking distance. Just perfect. The staff were all very lovely. Breakfast was excellent, put on 2 kgs in 4 days !!! :)

There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, and it’s also an easy base from which to explore Santorini via bus or rental car. It was good being in Imerovigli which is a 20~30 minute walk from Fira. Fira was noisy and not very pretty so it is better to stay in Imerovigli. The property is beautifully maintained with nice gardens and we made good use of the pool. There are good restaurants nearby although all Santorini prices are elevated compared to other parts of Greece, including other islands. It is definitely a 5 star resort and a great place to relax.
