The favourite place I've visited in Vagamon is the Mottakunnu which is situated near Vagamon meadows. I stayed in Vagamon Clouds, an Apartment stay which was situated near Vagamon town. I ate from both vacation towns and restaurants on the way to vagamon. The climate is a little bit cold. It's better to keep a jacket with you. Better, order food from your stay itself if they provide you. Restaurants are very costly and the food is pathetic.

A somewhat small hill-town, with limited outing areas as compared to Munnar. Just my personal opinion. It was a pleasure to walk in the plantations which were a part of the property which gives good views of the hills around.
