Very quiet and spacious room. Very good, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Pretty good location - a few minutes up a steep hill to town centre and restaurants, but easily done in 10 minutes. Characterful with a lovely Romanesque church right outside.

The Renaissance Palace in the Romanesque City of Zamora, the Parador has a medieval atmosphere that provides a contemporary hotel experience. The warmest greeting was received by the hotel manager at reception, very welcome after a long journey. The hotel staff were attentive, polite and informative, ensuring our stay was memorable. Room 112 was beautiful, however, it was noisy being located on the Plaza. Wi-Fi connectivity was not great but was adequate for an overnight stay. Breakfast was good, with good options reasonable for an establishment of this type, although service was strained due to a stressed member of the waiting team.

Good to visit for an overnight stay. Easily see the attractive old buildings and shopping district in one day. Seems to be poor for restaurants /tapas bars but maybe those closed when I visited opened at other times.

Still a bit of a hidden gem.
Still a bit of a hidden gem. The historic city is beautiful and old. The view over the river and land is amazing. It's a provincial Castillian town, very authentically Spanish. Very easy to get around on foot. The food is excellent and affordable. Calle de los Herreros is where you find great bars with tasty dishes.

Well worth a visit for a few days.
Well worth a visit for a few days. We only stayed one night which wasn't really long enough. Two or three nights would have been better.
There are lots of historic buildings in Zamora, the Cathedral and castle on top of the hill probably being the most notable buildings with great views.
Lot of local restaurants and bars. Fantastic local wines.

For me, Zamora was the first Spanish city I had visited that was not overrun by foreign tourists. In fact in the two daysI was there I only heard about a half a dozen people speaking anything but Spanish. It has a treasure trove of Romanesque architecture and also of early twentieth century architecture, lovingly preserved and maintained, not for the purpose of harvesting visitors' euros, but because the community deems it worthwhile. One of my best memories of my visit was being able to wander through the narrow, twisting streets of the old city from open square to square in the company of only a handful of local people. It was indeed the first time in five visits to Spain that I felt I was visiting an unadulterated Spanish city.

We visited in November… Spain is cold and wet at this time so the town seems of course wintery. We walked to old town … it would be spectacular in good weather. It would be a good summer place to visit.
The host Óscar was very nice, helpful and flexible. He explained us the city, recommended great places. Thanks to him we enjoyed Zamora like locals.
The apartment was very spacious, clean and modern. The cute patio was airy and very comfy. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere.
We will definitely come back! Highly recommended!
We stayed for 4 nights in this apartment with private parking in the garage, everything was clean, the kitchen with the necessary utensils for cooking, the spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed and the bathroom with a nice large shower with all the comforts such as bathroom shower, hairdryer, etc.
We will definitely be back next time.
The building, particularly the interior patio is very pleasant. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great at the edge of the old town and overlooking the river. Free street parking in tront of the hotel. Very walkable city both the old town and the river. Breakfast is very good
This is a wonderful little hotel. Great location. Close to everything. Excellent value. I had a beautiful room with a balcony over the little square.below. Plus the receptionist Alba could not have been more pleasant, helpful, informative and welcoming. This hotel is a hidden gem!
Very modern and tastefully decorated. Everything felt new. It was also very clean. Wifi was also stable. Nothing really to complain about. Bonus is that all the restaurants are nearby. The historical city center doesn't have much, this hotel is in the real center.
Very friendly reception, very welcoming atmosphere, free coffee during the day, nice location, 10 minutes walk to the main sights, enough parking space on arrival, not very spacious, but nice and quiet room
Very friendly and obliging host couple (we have had a VERY nice backgammon-evening)! :-) Apartment with everything you need.
We even had been invited for a wonderful dinner with Spanish specialties.
