Everything was perfect. The owners were PERFECT. The unit was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy, the AC was working great and the kitchen had all the basics we needed. They provided us with the elevator pass and check-in instructions before arrival so everything went smoothly. Also gave us some restaurant recommendations which was really helpful. The breakfast was great, also it was a huge portion so we had the sandwich for lunch. I asked for iron and they provided it immediately. They stored our luggage for a couple of hours when we checked out which was so helpful. Their cat Bibi was the sweetest. Our best experience yet.

Beautiful Italian town with great restaurants and access to the rest of Cinque Terre.
It does suffer from over tourism with crowded towns and trains and the national walking trails were closed when we were there.

When we arrived, the key was not in the box outside the door. The host didn't respond! So, we made other arrangements. I couldn't believe it. I've never had a problem with a hotel or booking.com before this.

Very beautiful town a must see, however extemely high hills and steps, if you are not too fit it can be difficult to manage, there are other towns in cinque terre that are flatter and you can visit Riomaggiore for the day. There is basically one main street with shops and food area which are quite costly. As it is a small area it is very full of travellers so it can be a bit difficult to access some eateries and viewing areas.

Riomaggiore is quintessential Cinque Terre.
Riomaggiore is quintessential Cinque Terre. It is rugged and beautiful. It is a colorful, bustling fishing village full of friendly people and yummy restaurants, bars, bakeries, little shops, art galleries, etc. And it wasn't as overrun as Vernazza. We stayed on the harbor which I highly recommend. We took a sunset cruise that left steps from our accommodations. After visiting all the towns, it was my favorite, by far.

Riomaggiore was a lovely village to stay in.
Riomaggiore was a lovely village to stay in. I am sure all the towns in Cinque Terre are lovely to stay in. One needs to be a bit in shape to do the hiking or even ride the trains but is an adventure not to be missed! The scenery is spectacular.

Wonderful historic town and the trek options between the towns are a treat. The train also makes it so easy to travel to all the towns. We also did a boat trip from Levanto to see Cinque Terra from the beautiful blue sea. Just lovely, a real highlight. There are also lots of choices of places to eat that seemed quite economical.
If you plan to stay at Cinque Terre, it is a must to have a sea view room and convenient location. This property provided the best answer for both.
The check-in instructions was provided and easy to follow. Andrew was very responsive for any question and concern thru WatsApp.
The apartment was right on the main street so it was close to the train station, restaurants and shops. The view from the terrace was unforgettable. The whole family really enjoyed the sun and wind and having an afternoon snack-time on the terrace.
Paola and Albero were very helpful from the moment we booked to even days after our stay! They coordinated so much for our stay which made it very stress free! They are both very knowledgeable about Cinque Terre and provided us with a lot of great information and assistance from parking, trails, and advice for the ticket for train and ferry. We loved the location, right on the marina close to everything. The room was super. We loved our short stay in Scorci d Mare and would happily make this our base hotel for 5Terre again.
Perfect location, owners are amazing, super friendly and go out of their way to welcome you and make sure everything is perfect for you. They even met us at La Spezia train station and showed us to the apartment while giving information out the town. This was the cleanest apartment we have stayed in in Europe so far. All of the appliances were clean and modern. Could not get a more perfect location. This is the best place to stay in the whole of the cinque Terre in our opinion.
We greatly enjoyed our stay in Riomaggiore at this apartment. It is right in the city center, close to restaurants, supermarkets, the marina and train station. The communication with Edoardo was excellent. A paid parking (35 euro per day) is very close by (~150 m). Travellers should know that access to the apartment requires climbing steep stairs, but this is pretty much everywhere in Cinque Terre. We were 3 adults and one child and slept very comfortably.
Giovanni was an exceptional host from the get-go. He helped carry up our heavy luggage up four flights of stairs, and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the best places to go in Cinque Terre! The room was generally clean and comfortable, and they left us treats every morning :) The second best part is the rooftop area to chill/drink/eat dinner as you can escape the crowds below, and hang out in peace! Would definitely recommend this place!
I like that it is just almost ouside the beach and is very photogenic. It is best to wake up early and take photos without the crowd (before 9am) to get a postcard view of the area. This is one of my favorite places among the towns in cinque terre. There ate also lots of places to eat even late at night at the other side of the station. The Property is also surprisingly huge. If you can't it, there is a bar just underneath it. 💚
We had a great time in Cinque Terre - would definitely return on our next visit to Italy!
The accommodation and facilities were nothing short of fantastic with great location very close to the train station. The host was extremely kind and made great recommendations in town. We were able to drop our luggage early and the host even assisted with carrying the bags up the stairs.
Would definitely recommend visiting Jolly Roger!
Beautiful location, incredibly kind and helpful staff. It was a pleasure having breakfast served on the balcony each morning, with the helpful staff remembering our coffee order. Room was really comfortable and spacious for two people. I will note that Cinque Terre can be difficult to navigate, as this Hotel is at the top of a hill if you have mobility issues you may struggle to get to and from.
Our stay was great. Carlo was very friendly and responsive. The room was in a great location. It is in an old wine cellar which is very eclectic, although that meant there were no windows. It was perfect for our stay though, an easy walk from the train station and the start of the Cinque Terre trail and all things Riomaggiore. A small room but did exactly what we needed it to do!
Sottocerpta was a joy to stay at. Central location in Riomaggiore, a fantastic apartment with brilliant facilities and a very kind and informative host in Sara. Our apartment had a fantastic terrace overlooking the main street and it was brilliant to stand out there, day or night and just watch the people go by in such a beautiful town. It was the perfect stay in Cinque Terre
We had such a great stay. Martha was so welcoming and kind, she met us near the train station and took us to the property. She was easily contactable via WhatsApp throughout our stay and helped us by making a reservation for dinner on our first night. Very helpful and showed us a map of Cinque Terre and explained the best way to get around. The rooms are very private too.
This property was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It has a large shower which was a nice change since most showers in Italy were very small. The location was convenient to the train station and all the restaurants, bars, and shops Riomaggiore had to offer. Roberto was an amazing and hospitable host.
This was the absolute best place to stay in Cinque Terre, and my cousin and I were so happy with the property! The room was the perfect size, so clean, and in a great location. I am so happy with this stay and when I come back to Cinque Terre I will definitely stay here!
Great location with a view over the town, within walking distance but still away from the masses! Davide and his family are very caring, looking after one and fullfilling every possible wish! Organic breakfast, with local ingredients.
Best stay in Cinque Terre !!!
Everything was clean and there was a terrace to sit outside on, which was nice to get away from the crowds. It was a great apartment and location for the price. The host also gave recommendations on the best restaurants and locations in cinque terre.
A really convenient location close to Riomaggiore Station - not to be underestimated in Cinque Terre!
Small but pleasant room with a good view. Easy self check in. Water and coffee provided.
