Giulia was an exceptional host who went out of her way to assist us. The room was sparkling and exceeded expectations. Trani itself is a locals only resort, and was an absolute pleasure in late May. You need a little bit of Italian language to get the best from the local area.
Located just a few steps from Trani’s harbour, the sea-view Terra Del Sole offers spacious rooms with modern décor and colourful details. A sweet breakfast is provided daily.

We loved everything about Lisa & Anna’s apartment. It was large and well thought out. It had absolutely everything that you needed and more. It had a fantastic bed, plenty of hot water & a good shower, a sizeable kitchen area with a small hob ( we didn’t use it but could have cooked on it).
The location was fantastic, being right by the scenic port. The breakfast provided was also an added extra.
The communication was excellent prior to arrival (our best on a long trip in Italy) & Lisa, who met us on arrival, was an absolute delight. Would urge others to stop at Terra Del Sole, it and it’s owners are fantastic!

The host was very accommodating.he let us store our luggage and drove us to the train Station. The bed was very comforable. The room is spacious and in a beautiful old building. It is one flight of steps up to the hotel and there is no elevator, but it’s not difficult.

Trani is a fabulous town, a must visit if you are in Puglia. Trani has loads of different restaurants and fabulous clothes shops. Try to have dinner on the Port of Trani and watch the fisherman bring in their catch and sell it on the side of the port near the Cathedral of Trani. The terrace bar at the Ognassi Hotel is very special and totally worth a visit too.

Trani was not preplanned....we found a B&B last minute, which was fanatastic, we were outside the holiday season so the Town was quiet, the harbour front offered many bars & restaurants, although we found a really good pizza bar on the back street, Art 'e' Arcimboldo Pizza Bistrot.
The Cathedral (plus Bell Tower 250+steps) & Castle both worth a visit, both offering alternative views of the Town below & harbour.
One night/day probably enough.

Diverting to Puglia was a last-minute decision for us, and we were not disappointed. Trani is a small but bustling city with good train access, a few sites of historical interest, and a fabulous harbor to the Adriatic Sea. Because it was not high season, when the tour busses left their day-stops, we felt like two of only a few tourists left in town.
Trani is the place to go if you are a seafood lover. At dusk, the fishing boats pull into the harbor, back up to the dock, and offer up their daily catch. Locals browse from boat to boat, loading up on whatever looks best, and restaurant patrons feast on the freshest of fresh fish and shellfish that evening. We had an incredible meal at Osteria ai Platani (highly recommend).
Had we planned this stop, we'd have stayed at least one more night for the food, wine, and ambiance alone.

We didn't really explore Trani except to walk to the port for a drink after we had arrived. We had a lot of trouble finding the hotel when we first arrived as the name on our booking was different to the name on the hotel, which caused some confusion and delays in checking in. The port area was pleasant to visit but the hotel was situated near the train station and we had to walk through small, narrow roads to reach the port.
Because there was a big event happening on the day of our arrival, Marco arranged for us to arrive early and met us at the property and allowed us to drop off our luggage. He and Sabry also allowed us to check in early when the apartment had been cleaned. They were very hospitable and informed us about what was happening in the town that day and what other things were unmissable. The apartment was very large and was located very close to the central area of Trani including great cafes and restaurants.
A beautiful small hotel in a renovated old palace. Every detail has been thought out. The room was beautiful with plenty of space. There were welcoming details in the small sitting room such as free coffee and lovely homemade biscuits. Breakfast couldn't be better.
The situation next to the cathedral on the waterfront is superb.
If you go to Trani [which you should] this is the place to stay.
All in all this is one of the best hotels I ave stayed in. I recommend it highly
Il Pesciolino was a nice surprise and Fabio, the owner, is a very nice person. He was caring and full of suggestions about our staying in Trani. The breakfast was provided in a very delicious pastry place behind the B&B. Everything was perfect, the room is nice, confortable and the location was just 5 minuts from the turist port. We got also several suggestion for lunch and dinner and all of them were really very good. I would recommend the B&B to anyone traveling to Trani!
The place is exquisitely designed and furnished. The B&B consists of 4 very large very well-equipped rooms. The rooms give a feeling of a 5 star hotel. The location is a few metres from the historic centre. There is good parking area beside the accommodation infront of the Comune of Trani so it is also very safe. The owner is very helpful. The breakfast is served at a cafe nearby. The pastries are excellent and also coffe and juice are inuded. Highly recommended.
The apartment is really big. It’s located in the old town of Trani with a nice view from the balcony over the castle and sea.
In winter it was warm in the apartment. There’s a central heating, not only AC.
Wifi broadband is stable and strong. I worked from the apartment with no connection issues.
There are 2 bathrooms (one with shower) and fully equipped kitchen.
Exceptional accommodation - personal service by the very sincere and friendly owners. The rooms are immaculately presented and very clean. All the finishes are of high quality. We cannot fault our stay here. Trani is a beautiful town and this property is located in heart of the old town with views across the harbour with restaurants at your doorstep.
Silvia, the host, couldn't be nicer! She met us at the property and took some time to show us around and give good tips about Trani. Great location, with entire Centro and harbor in walking distance. The room is quiet and comfortable with a great shower. Loved the breakfast provided just two doors down. Also, incredible rooftop for hanging out.
Beautiful, simply decorated room with a lovely bathroom.
Tea/ coffee making facilities in the room but also lots of free snacks and drinks in the public area.
The staff, especially Francesca, were extremely attentive and helpful.
The location is excellent, on a pretty street close to free parking and to the shops and restaurants of Trani.
The apartment was very comfortable. Our room had the most comfortable bed and pillows during our stay in Italy. The room was charming and had a nice balcony looking over the rooftops. It was very conveniently located for exploring Trani. Breakfast was good and had some fruit and nuts as well as pastries. We will definitely stay again!
The room was beautiful and very spacious. The location was perfect and super close to everything. The staff were amazing. Specially a girl named Francesca who managed my stay. She spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable. She was beyond helpful. I loved my time in Trani and would love to go back soon.
The room was delightful, situated on the corner of the property with two windows on adjacent faces of the building. It was spacious and well appointed. Le Marinelle was in a very good location, being very close to the port in the historic part of Trani. The person checking us in was very helpful and friendly.
Beautiful apartment right next to the Norman castle; sea view; easy parking out front; hosts helpful and easy to reach; well-stocked kitchen with espresso machine (coffee provided); comfortable beds; nice shower; great location in the heart of the old town
The breakfast was truly exceptional with homemade goodies in abundance. Our hosts made every effort to welcome us and orient us to Trani and its possibilities. The room was perfect and the shower enormous. It was really a great experience. Many thanks!
We first saw this building during a previous stay in Trani. We planned our next trip to Trani around when the large room at this B&B was available. Lovely courtyard and nice terrace with chairs. Hope to go back for a longer stay next time!
Good location ad although a little way out of Trani there was an easy access path along the sea. Room was in fact a small apartment, very comfortable and everything we needed. Delightful hosts. Large pool which was great.
Location is excellent, in the historical centre of Trani, about 3 minutes walk to the seafront, with countless restaurants, pizzerias, cafes, etc. Parking place , very close to apartment was kept by landlord.
Owner was extremely helpful and attentive. Apartment was spotless and very secure. Great location. Easy to find free street parking. I would stay again if I return to Trani.
Location was excellent. A few minutes walking to restaurants. Free private parking on site which is always a luxury. Easy to find with many signs directing us to the hotel
