Villasimius was clean and well organized with a lively town centre. The town was charming and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. Our favourite beaches were Cala Pira, Cala Sinzias and Punta Molentis.

I’ve been many rimes.
I’ve been many rimes. My main criticism is the cost of taxis. They are a rip off. Apparently there is only one main taxi firm in town. We were charged €25 for a cab for a journey of about 2 1/2 miles to the hotel.

The beaches are spectacular.
The beaches are spectacular. Nice choice of restaurants in the town, although the town centre doesn’t have the charm and character of other Italian towns we’ve visited, but it’s lively in the evening and you can get a decent meal.

Villasimius is a nice village, connected to a lot of beaches. There is a summer bus which is very punctual and can take you to different beaches. A quiet village which has some nice cafes, bars and restaurants, which are open all day.

We really enjoyed the quietness and low-key vibe of the area...
We really enjoyed the quietness and low-key vibe of the area! If there is anything we would have wished for, it would be to have a couple of restaurants in closer proximity to the appartment. But, seeing as this probably would have ruined the low-key vibe, we really would not wish for anything else 😍

We fell in love with Villasimius. We will be back.
We fell in love with Villasimius. We will be back. Walking distance of the beautiful beach or a short bus ride. The bus will take you around to other beaches too. The restaurants catered for tastes. The main square has a beautiful bar cafe with table service only. We sat and watched the world go by. Lots of tasteful shops and boutiques. Everything we needed and throughly enjoy our stay. Can’t wait to book again
great property, and perfect beachfront. amazing views from all sides of the hotel. we had a mountain view which was amazing to wake up to and see the sunrise behind the peaks. we rented bikes one day and went all over - into the town, to the marina, and to a nearby winery. the breakfast was great. the staff was great. for those complaining about seaweed at the beach like, it’s a beach. if you want a sanitized environment- stay inside. it is natural. you can just go out past the seaweed if it’s really that much of an issue. but it isn’t.
The hotel is a clean and organized family operated business. There is a beautiful swimming pool on well maintained and well landscaped grounds surrounded by guest villas. The hotel is 5 kilometers from the beach and 2 kilometers from the town Villasimus. A car is necessary. The natural beauty of the surrounding hills is special.
The restaurant is good. It is advertised as great, but it is good, not great. The hotel is quiet and well kept. They serve honey and olive oil produced from their own land.
We had a lovely and comfortable stay at Le Fontane Residence. The apartment was specious and clean, and it’s location very convenient for shopping, dining and having an evening stroll to the town centre. 3 supermarkets within 2 minutes walk, and a few good restaurants down the road. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole complex is extremely clean and tidy. Pleasant pool are, although we didn’t used much, as the area is surrounded with beautiful beaches.
The house is closed by the beach of Porto Luna, small and nice for the first day, then I suggest to go around and visit the dozens of wonderful beaches of the area. The sight from the terrace is gorgeous as well as the quietness all around. There is no internet connection and phone line ether, this can be both positive for a real break but tricky to arrange any booking for beaches and restaurants, that I suggest to do before reaching any place.
The hotel is a family run business and you can tell by how much attention to detail the staff pays to everything. Ivan was very welcoming and ensured we had a great stay! The hotel was comfortable and the rooms were beautiful. Breakfast was one of the best we had during our stay in Sardinia as everything was home cooked and prepared! I would recommend a stay here to anyone in villasimus!
Anna’s apartment is just wonderful. It’s in a quiet part of Villasimius, but just a short walk away from the center. The place is very clean and well equipped. Anna gave us a warm welcome and recommended restaurants/beaches. You also could reach her via phone or chat easily. If we will be back in Villasimius, I would not hesitate and book again. Thanks a lot for the hospitality Anna.
Really clean lovely boutique feel about it, large rooms and bathrooms, housekeeping daily and fab toiletries. really friendly and helpful receptionist. My trip was a family matter to return my deceased aunt to her resting place in Sardinia where she was from.
breakfast buffet was amazing.
Very nice, quite big summer house. With full air conditioning, fridge, cooker, washing machine.
Extra plus for shower in the garden, very comfortable bed, close to 2 big supermarkets. 30 minutes walk from closest beach, 12 minutes walk from town centre.
excellent size of the room, very authentic. The location of the hotel was very close to Villasimius city center which was great for evening outings. Also very close to campolongu beach which was a great plus. Room was clean. Pool was also nice.
Very friendly, professional and helpful hosts, Roberta is the best! Room and hotel were nice and clean. Tasty italian style breakfast every morning. 200m to town centre. I really enjoyed my stay and plan to visit again.
The location was perfect for the town and the beach. The hotel itself is extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated and maintained but maintains a relaxed, laid back atmosphere. The staff were fantastic.
Beautiful house just by the outstanding beach
Lovely outside sitting area
Outside BBQ
The kitchen had everything you need
Washing machine
Every room has own TV
Good Internet
Perfect for family with kids
Air conditioner did not work. The hotel sent someone 4 times and it still did not work. Tried to change rooms and the staff was going to charge extra for the late booking. Awful front desk staff.
Simona, the hotel representative, was absolutely lovely! She did everything she could to fix the atrocious problem with the WiFi connectivity but it was irreparable.
We had a truly exceptional stay at this hotel. The property is greatly maintained overall, the attention by the host is exemplary, and the best breakfast buffet!
