I mentioned the toilet backing up overnight. .
I mentioned having to climb long stairs to eat breakfast. Breakfast was good with waffle and large fruit variety. Adequate parking. Fantastic two track paved roads to explore.

The wild flowers in the area were spectacular.
The wild flowers in the area were spectacular. Lots of people walking everywhere so we felt very safe. Many places to eat. Only problem a lot of restaurants were closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

What a wonderful town so full of history!
What a wonderful town so full of history! So many interesting stores with historical backgrounds. Definitely visit the Pacific War Museum and go to a reenactment if there's one on that day. Too many great places to eat, drink and shop in.

Downtown Fredericksburg is cute with lots of shops, although most are pricey. Free street parking! Many, many wineries nearby!
Lady Bird Park is amazing! We were in town for viewing the solar eclipse, and they treated us like royalty! No charge for admittance. No parking passes needed. Tons of staff available throughout! Permanent restrooms and tons of porta potties. Free eclipse glasses. Food and souvenirs available. The park is big, beautiful, and well-maintained. We were in a car, but there were camping sites too. Surprisingly fast and easy getting out of the park due to folks directing traffic. Kudos to whomever was in charge of Lady Bird Park on April 8, 2024!

All merchants restaurant personal were friendly and polite.
All merchants restaurant personal were friendly and polite. Things went well with all reservations. The price for the rental was high dye to the eclipse. Even guides at enchanted Rock were helpful and allowed us in, even though we didn't have reservations.

I thought Main St in Fredericksburg was too expensive.
I thought Main St in Fredericksburg was too expensive. Most of the items we looked at were made in China and overpriced. We were disappointed in the items available and the prices.
I would have enjoyed seeing more of the town and learning more about the community.
Loved the seclusion, the hot tub, the clean lines of decor, the cleanliness of the cabin overall, and the comfort. Great to have all the comforts of home, including a washer and dryer, in a lovely cabin which is beautifully appointed. Very deceptively rustic from the outside. Very modern inside. Lovely garden complete with monarch butterflies. Pathway access to the river, outdoor swing by the river. Covered parking. Great overall! Would love to go back sometime. Great proximity to Fredericksburg, TX.
The location is 10 minutes away from main street Fredericksburg and dozens of wineries. Cabin set back in wooded area off highway was very quiet. Several cabins on property in back of Mendelbaum winery and we stayed in the Almond cabin that has three double beds for 3-6 people. One bed was hard, one bed was soft and one bed was squeaky. Small table with 6 barstools in main room and one small bathroom that had plenty of towels. Key located in realtor lock box on front door.
We were traveling with our service dog and they had us at the back of the property well away from traffic. There is a creek back there and a huge grassy area to exercise a big dog, perfect for us. This is a dog friendly property by the way. It’s an old property that is well tended and has a certain charm that feels very comfortable. The best place in Fredericksburg to stay, by far.
The lady at the frontdesk was nice and kind at checking in and out. The lobby had a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The location was walkable to the museum and restaurants and shopping downtown.
Honestly the room was old, but I could see their effort to clean as much as possible. It's worth it to stay for the price.
The host Jimmy was so charming and entertained us for ages! They left prosecco and orange in a cooler, had flowers and snacks available and left jams, pickles etc etc for us to use as we wished. Jimmy even offered us a tour of the ranch but we were too tired to accept.
The owners are amazing! They are always so welcoming. Every time we have stayed with them, they have always been so accommodating to our schedule as night shift nurses. Hands down, Sunset Inn & Suites is the best place to stay in Fredericksburg!
One of the least expensive places to stay in Fredericksburg. It is close to everything, but most places are in Fredericksburg. It had A/C. It is pet friendly. I didn't have my room key and the desk clerk was helpful to let me into my room.
Outstanding property on beautiful grounds. Super clean and comfortable accommodations. Great for a quiet couple of days away. Extremely peaceful yet only a short drive in to downtown Fredericksburg. Can’t wait for our next visit.
It was clean, convenient to downtown and the pool area was great! Very pleased and would stay again. You can sit by the creek that is there and relax outside while the kids swim. Breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel.
We had a good stay here. The rooms were clean, comfortable and a close distance to everything in Fredericksburg. Staff was very friendly as well! We also appreciated the breakfast that was served on the weekend.
The ac was filthy we turned it on dust came out so much build up on the vents. The floors looked like my dog licked them clean I wouldn't recommend to anyone it's cheap but there's better hotels for cheaper
Superb location and great little hotel. Clean and spacious rooms, in quiet surroundings and very close to the main street with access to everything in walking distance. Great amenities.
It was the best place that we've stayed in Fredericksburg so far. We will definitely stay there on our next trip. Location was great, between downtown and the wine corridor.
It had a great shower, and very clean room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It has an excellent location. It was easy to check in and out. It has good coffee.
