Agia Marina is a nice and quiet place with a lot of good restaurants, perfect for families. If you like to explore a bit there are amazing beaches you can reach by car and a bit of walking. Close to Chania, easy free parking on the streets.

Good rustic Greek cooking at Romanza Family Tavern and authentic dishes at Mylonas Tavern for the more budget-conscious. Casa Di Mare for beachside dining. Sick of the beach/hotel pool? Very busy strip of road near the beach crammed with supermarkets and tavernas but once you got off that road the area was wonderful- would especially recommend the Horiatiki taverna for a friendly and genuine Greek meal plus the Drakiana taverna a little way out of town but located on the river and serving the most divine food. The other thing was the ease of walking around the area with several waymarked routes to explore the countryside plus an easy bus ride into Chania

The hotel is well located right next to the Agia Marina Beach, gas station, restaurants and supermarkets, 15 min away from Chania old town and a 1.30h trip from Elafonisi and Balos. Inside the hotel you have a lovely rooftop and a small pool if you wish to relax. Our room was exactly as depicted in the photos. Very clean and decorated with in amazing greek fashion. We spent a really good time in Crete and are looking forward to return one day and hopefully we will choose the Seagull again :)

The room was big and clean. Comfortable bed. Basic breakfast. 30 seconds walk to the private pool (big and clean) and then onto the beach. On the beach you need to pay for a lounge and umbrella. You can go on different restaurants every day in a very short distance. The wi-fi signal was good. There are lockers in a lobby where you can leave your luggage if there is a need to.AneliyaBulgaria

Close to dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, mini-market… you can comfortably stay here without needing a car. George was an amazing friendly host that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Amenities were excellent. Mattress was comfortable, and the shower was the best I had in Greece! We absolute recommend Ifigenia’s Seaside Casa and will return next time we’re in the area! ❤️🙏

The breakfast was tasty and fresh. There was a good choice of different types of breakfast. Staff always helpful and happy to help anytime. They were giving fresh towels everyday and also they offered a shuttle from the airport. To Chania city centre it's around 40min. I didn't see any public transport there, so it's good to have a car or motorbike.AnnaPoland

The room was ideal for us offering 2 separate bedrooms which gave our teenage daughter privacy as quite often in Greece the 2nd bed would be a kitchen pull out. The couple managing the property were very helpful and welcoming. Also a great location with a regular bus stop outside making it easy to travel into Chania old town (€1.60 per person).

Haris was an outstanding host and made us feel at home with his generosity and warm demenour. He takes a lot of pride in his Villas and it shows. The location is a perfect home base to explore some of Western Crete's amazing attractions like Balos, Elafanosi and Samara Gorge. We highly recommended staying here.
